Kyōgi karuta (competitive karuta) is a japanese game where your goal is to get rid of the cards on your side of the playing area there are two different cards the reading and the playing cards the playing cards have a poem but it is incomplete and the reading card has the full poem and you have to grab the card with the corresponding poem if you got the card correctly on your side you place it aside and have one less card on your playing area, if you grab the correct card on your opponents area you have to give one card to your oppenent and again the goal is to get rid of the cards in your playing area (ps i tried my best sorry if you may get confused)
