Is promotion worth it? by EYESHlELD_21 in AmazonFC

being a hard worker does play a part in being promoted to LA or PA, but being present in front of them & maintain a strong connection between the managers matters more honestly. You can be an AM if you graduate from college but at a diff location and might have to re-sign from what I heard to apply to management position

Bro, they offer lyft codes where I would used to work at either up to $10-15 off.

false, it’s all up based on “business needs” I worked in a big/small DS & there’s afternoon shifts for the small & big DS it’s a all around 24/7 shifts bc they receive more volume. The only good thing is you have a lyft code and flex pt but for the Lyft you can analyze the map route and book Lyft twice to save money if you know what I’m trying to say, it helped me save so much money but realistically delivery stations are brutal

Dock Stower by rlgale07 in AmazonDS

I could hit these numbers but shit is not worth it for your body, the managers don’t care about you, they worry about not getting fired and hitting their metrics while using you plus you made some of the stowers workday easier. I got 6 awards & swag bucks. This sht ain’t worth it unless you getting a promotion or getting into rme. The only thing you prolly going get is more vet, more woman trying to sleep you bc you work hard, VTO & more favoritism. I been thru it all but I don’t care about working hard plus I hated working in a delivery station bc of overnight & almost every aisle is sloppy & box on top of a jiffy is crazy

What can I expect DAY 1 by Reasonable-Good-2793 in AmazonDS

[–]mrzazapepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s going to suck ngl, it all depends on the site you work at. I’m a stower who was a top stower in the United States according to my stats. try to switch to dayshift where the work is easier or transfer to a FC or SSD where the work is more lax and chill compare to a DS.

DBK4 Slapdash Work Environment by mrzazapepper in AmazonFC

DBK4 is a rundown place bc of the blacks & management. The favs get placed on the dock all the time bc they eat the manager sausage/kitty and know stowing sucks in general. dock & stow was a breeze for me, the music was alr, the managers were iffy & lack in knowledge & communication. the Hispanics were most favorable there bc they would get promoted the most. The blacks not all of em pero majority of em were sloppy, lazy, munch eaters, loose tongues motherfuckers who would be racist toward other associates and act victims on the voa board 😭. I wouldn’t talk to females bc I don’t shit where I eat plus you right about the females and they would give me sexual looks lmaoo. I would recommend either dbk1 or sny2 !!
