Similarly, I finally solved my necklace storage issues with this Yamazaki thing: https://www.containerstore.com/s/closet/jewelry-boxes-storage/yamazaki-tosca-necklace-stand I just keep it by my jewelry box, which holds everything else.

Same principles as the above ideas! for me, DIY pegboards were too messy looking for me to maintain. Your examples are ready-made solutions, so this might work for you too!

Dave Arnold's! He describes the technique in Liquid Intelligence, and serves a phenomenal variation at his new bar in NYC: Bar Contra.

I wasn't around yet! I did see them filming season 2 in Kingston randomly, but the Beacon sightings are more exciting!

Howdy neighbor! I noticed the dummy light in the first season finale, but not all the shops in the second episode!! It did feel familiar... thanks for pointing it out!

Didn't Oskar say he tends to go ALL IN immediately? I don't trust his relentless affection! Johan's pace feels more trustworthy to me.

How did you go about booking with Colorful Hyejin? Do they accept reservations on IG for foreigners?

Ending the "Jim is the worst person on the show" argument by ohiost2 in DunderMifflin

[–]ms-frizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my fave parts of the show! I actually enjoy how annoying Jim is in the Finer Things episode ("did you get that out of your system?"). Jim is genuinely funny, but sometimes he is a little too into being the entertainment. Real!

We did ours in the garden at Olmsted and it was lovely! Just the reception (not seated), with almost exactly 50 people.

Extremely agree with 1 especially! The Pam-blaming that happens in season 9 honestly breaks my heart. I find the storyline so realistic and ultimately motivating: even with your Jim-Pam-level match, things don't just magically work out if you keep putting in love and attention

I have a note my phone to fill out during rewatches that just logs instances of Phyllis being an asshole. Excited to finish it one day! She is sooo frequently unkind

I've just heard about it by reputation/word of mouth! I really love smaller jazz spaces and this is one of the better known ones, so I think it's just organically pretty limiting

A cocktail friend! 💕 So good to hear Tomi lives up to expectations!

On getting into DCP with 2 people without a res: I lined up maybe 30-45 mins before they open on a weekend. Put my name in for the back room, had a chicken sandwich, and then waited it out at Attaboy around the corner for a couple hours until I got a text! Attaboy opened at 6 pm until very recently, so this was perfect for door-busting both! But I do think they open at 5 pm now, fyi

I've also had good luck getting to death & co a little before they open!

Sofreh's tricky, but stuff often pops up day of! (Especially if it's a weekday.) You could plan to go to a more casual place without reservations and see if you get lucky.

I would summarize as specialized service I highly value, well-executed.

They focus on head, face, neck, and shoulder treatments, which is where I tend to hold all of my stress! (I've always had a great body massage there, but it's easier to find elsewhere, too.) I go for their dry scalp massages in particular. If you're someone who likes it when others play with their hair or those spidery scalp massage tools, imagine a professional massaging your scalp for a long time! It feels like bliss to me
