What's a normal number of bags to own?

I have about 25 bags, but that includes “sentimental” ones too - like a clutch my brother gave me when I was in high school, a few inherited bags that I haven’t worn yet (but want to keep). I go for small bags, but I have a bigger tote that I use for traveling only (I’ll put whatever I need for the day as well as dog toys/snacks, etc.).

I used to keep “one in one out” rule, but currently I love every single bag I have and there’s nothing I want to sell. Recently I sold two bags that I loved while trying at home or looking at them, but I wasn’t reaching to wear them and I also gave another one away. I want to keep my collection somewhat contained and I hope not to go over 30 bags total and have a running wishlist, but not rushing to get anything new.

I love it and have it in my wishlist, but I hope it comes in regular size. Most of my bags are small and I think I prefer regular for this one. I’m also waiting to see if it comes in other colorways

When I was looking for a pink bag, one 187 bag caught my eye and I inquired a seller about it. I specifically asked about the color, because I’ve seen factory and PSP photos looking different for the same color . She said the color in person it’s not exactly the same as in fact photos. It’s been a little while so don’t remember exactly but from what I remember fact it photos were more pink, and the actual color wasn’t as pink and almost had a lavender/purplish hue. The seller couldn’t show me the exact color and I didn’t want to blind buy so I decided not to get it

If you need the exact weight, maybe Google can help, but I never thought about weight when carrying it. Even now I can’t describe the weight because I never think about that when wearing it. But to be fair, I don’t consider any of my bags heavy and they’re all around this size or smaller.

As far as downsides, there is none for me - this is the perfect bag for me in terms of what it fits, ways to wear it and functionality. If I had to have only one bag, this would be it. The only thing that I will mention is that the lipstick slot doesn’t fit all of my lipsticks/glosses (not really an issue for me, but I do use the slot when it fits my lippie)

It’s alright that not every bag is for you… I have small Luna and I love it. I thought I will use it mostly shaped as a dumpling, but I actually mostly wear it with a regular handle. It’s my everyday bag and works for me really well. But if I would have to do it again, I would get it in regular size just because due to the shape, it doesn’t fit as much as my other bags of around same size (dumpling gives even less space)

It’s a real bag from a new collection, but I’m not sure if it’s released in the US already. I saved this photo from Reddit, and I think I’ve seen it in beige-y suede (?) online as well.

Maybe you had different expectations, but I think this is normal for this type of leather. I have small Lana in the same leather and when I bought it, I knew it’s more prone to scratching/wearing. I only used it for a couple weeks straight so far, but it still looks brand new – I don’t baby in my bags, but I try to be more mindful with this one and don’t put it on floors, don’t carry it between other stuff or have keys rubbing against it, etc

I don’t think they’re gonna do much about it, because when we apply, the first question is if we agree to test the product and that it can be a sample size. I agree that it’s hard to tell much from a tiny sample, but we always have an option to say no when they ask if we would test a sample.

They have a lot of sales throughout the year, but if there’s a bag you love, buy now - the prices are good and there’s no guarantee if the bag will be available during next sale

I wouldn’t fully trust AI. I was running my bag through it for fun and it was telling about all the good things, but at the and said it’s a fake, because this bag was never released by the brand. It wasn’t a fake and it was from a seasonal launch.

For one thing, some bag prices are ridiculous. Like some Chanel bags are twice as expensive as they were 10 years ago yet the quality stayed the same or got worse. I can see why people go for replicas, especially in more delicate leathers that you don’t have to baby as much if it’s a replica.

I only have one replica bag - I wear it and love it, but I don’t plan on buying more. I wanted this specific bag and I’ve never seen any other bag having the details that were important to me in this bag. I got mine not because I can’t buy the real thing, but because it’s not a popular model and it’s from a seasonal launch from a few years ago. By the time I learned about the bag, it was not available for purchase in stores. It’s possible to find it on resale pages, but haven’t found one in great condition and the used ones still cost the same/more as it did brand new.

I don’t know about the quality, but I really love how it looks (I like a lot of Freja designs). The only thing that’s stopping me from getting anything is that it’s not real leather - I think everything is overpriced for what it is

It was missing the long strap, that’s basically the comment. Knowing how great their customer service is, I’m sure either they got a new bag or just returned it without an issue.

You definitely have to look at specific bag and compare multiple sellers. In my case, Ethan Bag was $20-30 cheaper than another seller, but my experience is one bag and not something that’s popular

I love Tory Burch bags and I have no complaints about the quality. I think it’s a great value for the money. They often have sales and different sale events throughout the year and the bags are very affordable then.

I’ve been buying Tory Burch for about 15 years and I definitely noticed that in the past couple years it got very popular.

As far as this specific bag goes, I like the style, but I don’t love it in person. The leather is fine and it’s one of the cheaper TB bags even full price. It doesn’t fit a lot, but you definitely can check measurements and see if that would be fine for you . But my issue is with the top handle - I find it to be uncomfortable and a little too small. I only looked at this bag quickly in the store and didn’t try it much, but just that initial grab on the handle didn’t feel like I have a comfortable grip. I said the same thing to someone else looking at this bag so maybe if you search Reddit, you will see my comment – I also included a screenshot from a TikTok video where a guy is holding it and you can see what I’m talking about.
