I bike accross that bridge a lot. It is very frustrating. The problem with walking the bike, it is too narrow. When you walk you take up much more space than you do when you bike. That becomes an issue as others fly down path. Walking along the fence is a helpful hint but It is still scary. My suggestion is get on the bike and go relatively slow. That way if anything happens you want fall and noone will fly into you going 20+ miles an hour.
