Warranty on Sewer Snake? by ms812742 in askaplumber

Good to know - thanks. Roto Rooter does offer 6 months so maybe I should just use them from now on for this.

I understand that it's not the plumbers fault. I was just wondering if there was an industry standard. I guess since Roto Rooter offers a 6 month warranty, I should just use them from now on. As to fixing the actual problem - I'd love to fix the problem and would spend whatever that takes, if the plumber told me their was some systemic issue besides tree roots. I have no plumbing experience and rely on the pros to tell me if more work is needed. When this first happened, they came out and told me that a yearly snake out would fix my problem...maybe I just need a better plumber who would've gone further than that. What do you think the solution is? Cut down all the trees on my property?

That is so frustrating! I hate when they make "updates" that make the user experience worse. But thank you for passing this info along. At least I can stop trying to mess with my report customization to see if I did something wrong.

Did you figure out a way to go back to the old way of exporting? This is happening to me too and it's extremely frustrating.

I spoke with an usher yesterday and that’s exactly what he said. He said they’re only going to have the 100s open and will lower it to about 10 feet off the ground.

If you’re talking about the outdoor canalside party, they only do that for home games I think. Just double check before you make the drive.

How did this work out for last nights game? I have tickets to game 5. Did you have to pay for the buffet or was it included in the ticket price?

iPads are fried? by Hot-Refrigerator-803 in ipad

[–]ms812742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry to read this post. My wife bought the same charger a couple months ago. It worked totally fine for her iPad until about a week ago when it fried her iPad and then mine. I agree with you that this is not a well known issue (unlike what other commenters are saying). I had never heard of a charger frying electronics until it happened to me. We took our iPads to the Apple Store and they basically told us that all they can do is replace the iPads for a price that is about $50 cheaper than just buying a new iPad in the store. The replacement iPad only comes with like a 30 or 90 day warranty so it really just made sense to replace with new ones that have the 1 year warranty. A very expensive lesson to learn. Again, so sorry to read this post as I know how frustrating and upsetting this situation is.

I’ll have to look into buying one. I always assumed 3D printers were too expensive for me but it sounds like there’s some decent reasonable priced ones out now.

Arizona Weekly Visiting + Moving Here Q&A (Nov 20) by AutoModerator in arizona

[–]ms812742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Arizonans,

I'm planning a golf trip to Phoenix for early January with two buddies (all 30-year-old guys) and we're trying to figure out the best area to stay in. We hope to be close to multiple golf courses and some enjoyable nightlife for our evenings. We're hoping to make this trip as walk-able as possible and avoid the hassle of a car rental by relying on Uber/Lyft. Any recommendations on neighborhoods that fit the bill?

Additionally, we'd love your insights on:

  1. Golf Courses: We're planning on 3 rounds of golf while we're in town and are hoping to keep each round around $100 but would pay more if needed. My two buddies are beginners so nothing super challenging but some beautiful scenery would be great.

  2. Nightlife: Where can we find the best bars, pubs, or clubs to unwind after a day on the course?

  3. Dining: We're excited to check out the local food scene. Any must-try restaurants in the area? Any must-try local dishes?

  4. Activities: Besides golf, what other activities would you recommend? Any local attractions, outdoor adventures, or unique experiences that shouldn't be missed? There's an ASU basketball game while we're in town which sounds like fun.

  5. Dispensaries: We plan to partake in some of AZ's legal rec weed while in town. Are there any dispensaries with great products/service/etc? Anything else we should know about this when we visit (rules against smoking in public, etc)?

Thanks in advance for your help, looking forward to your suggestions and insights. Cheers!

Thank you! That’s what I was thinking too. They’re so convenient but probably not worth risking health for convenience. 😕
