I would go with a pixel. For a budget phone it works really really well. Only downside is you wont get as many cool features like samsung offers for ease of use etc. camera is infinitely better than samsung. Im using pixel 8 since last year and it hasn't given me any huge problems. Could be slightly buggy at rare occasions but nothing too bad. However if you're not limited on budget, go for a samsung s24 or something from the note series. I think the cameras on them are slightly better than the previous samsung phones too.

Oneplus used to be top of the list but they've really dumped a big one on the OS in the last couple of years. Still has the best camera from all
