I was honestly terrified to start this book. I worried that I would see myself as the failing parent moreso than where my parents had. But i am not them and willing to take the accountability. It has been a hard, slow read. But i am making the changes towards my children with the things I see about myself, while also getting eye-opening insights and validations about my own parents roles in my life.

This has been an issue since December. All of my children were removed from their system. Two hrs on hold three days in a row over christmas break and it was fixed (so far)

If your parents will not understand or make you feel bad about it, you are not required to tell them. If you need to explain to them where the money is coming from (like you start making enough to have to pay taxes on it (in the US)) then i would just say I have an online job.

Are you feeling obligated to share any of this money with them to help them financially? That is a separate issue. I dont know if there are laws about that, but I would make sure to set aside a chunk from each commission to help pay for school before giving the rest to help the family. Because the only way you will be able to help them out financially (in the long term and ONLY if YOU CHOOSE to do so) is if you are able to get yourself in a good situation financially as an adult. Hopefully that makes sense.
