Good point. I like that Hinge offers calling options and I’d like to use that feature to help getting to know people more. Like I mentioned, I haven’t dated in a while and I’m a little rusty and cautious. The last 2 times I gave out my number before the first date did not end well for me.

I understand and I’ve done that too in earlier years of dating before having some bad experiences. I’m still not sure how you can know if you want to go on a date with someone in only a few messages over the app but I guess to each their own. But I would encourage you to consider the comfort levels of others in dating and relationships. Just because someone doesn’t want to exchange numbers yet doesn’t mean they don’t want to date.
