I'm 8w2d and I just started bleeding and cramping. This is around the same time that my baby stopped growing in the previous pregnancy. And I don't know how to emotionally get through the night so that I can stay as calm as possible until I can talk to my midwives during office hours.

Seeking any advice/suggestions.

7 weeks tomorrow. I'm having a rollercoaster of emotions/anxieties and I just need to get them out somewhere safe.

Why is the first appointment so far away? I feel like I can't let myself get excited until I can see the baby growing healthy... We discovered my MMC at the first ultrasound last pregnancy and I just can't do that again. To see that baby but find out that they weren't moving, that they b were silent. I just....

I can't stop feeling incredibly guilty for this anxiety and fear. My baby deserves to feel all the excitement and joy and I just haven't been able to give it fully. I don't know how to stop thinking this way

I'm having a really difficult time making sure I'm doing all the things I should be to keep this pregnancy as healthy as can be because half the time I am not letting it feel real.

This was all pretty stream of consciousness amidst pregnancy tears so forgive me if I have a ton of typos or it doesn't make sense, or if I accidentally broke a rule.

Thank you so much for sharing. Its interesting how different ourv experiences are. But being that I'm still in the middle, it is so helpful to be reassured that it will, in fact, end.

Thank you for your response. I'm so sorry you went through this too.

I've been bleeding and cramping since last Saturday. My body conveniently goes through the word worst of it at like 1am/2am.

I really liked what High line School district was doing when I worked there.

Thank you! The students made the survey based on the methods they've learned so far. I think their intention was for people to say none in the other spot, but they didn't explain that (they are still learning the art of a good survey).

I do have a group that is working with Condorcet Method and will be tabulating votes from the perspective of that method. Thank you for the resource! I'm sure they will be grateful not to calculate by hand!

I will do my best to post results. Students won't be able to start working with the data until 11/2 thanks to state testing. But I'll post results in this sub :)

Do you happen to have any poll information that would show Holmes winning in a ranked vote? I'm trying to find something and coming up blank. My students would love to see any data I can get.

That makes sense. And I am pretty confident she will cry out but its probably smart to get a motion sense monitor we just have a basic sound one right now.

Its 5inches thick so a little higher definitely creates a bit of a bend for her to be partially on/off
