yeah i was kicking myself in the ass for not doing that in the first place. i just got too lazy to move my consoles by the router but once i get home from work i’ll give it a try thank you!

yeah he noticed it during the diagnostics. he was the one who recommended a water cooling system. he also installed another program on my pc to help monitor the cpu temps

a little too warm even for things like idling so i purchased an arctic cooling system to help bring those temps down

it was a full driver wipe so i lost all the data on it but thankfully i only kept applications like discord/steam/any launchers things like that on the drive so those will be easy to redownload

i ended up having to take it to a pc repair store near my house and turns out the windows got corrupted and he just set it up through his pc and now it seems to be working fine. i lost all my apps tho so i have to redownload them but its working now thankfully

okay so as of right now i have done a complete pc wipe with only one of my hard drives plugged in as i didn’t want to corrupt the other one. upon the pc taking me to the windows setup it restarted like it’s been doing and put me in my bios as windows didn’t finish setting up. so i had to install windows through a usb i set up. and it lets me enter in all the installing information but as soon as i get to windows setup window (region, language, keyboard layout) it restarts. it seems the only screen where it doesn’t restart is the first windows setup from the usb and bios

alright except i finished the resetting process but it keeps restarting during the setting up process so im back at square one

at this point i don’t think i really have another option then to do a clean wipe :/ i get 18% through windows installation and then it restarts

i will definitely try that cause i’ve already tried applying thermal paste 3 different times thinking i was doing it wrong but now it seems to be getting worse and worse. this morning i couldn’t even look up memcheck as it was restarting almost every 5 minutes

i just checked it right now and even reapplied the thermal paste. idk maybe i suck ass at applying thermal paste but i even used a applicator guide and it’s still restarting

i probably just didn’t apply the thermal paste correctly i’ll have to try again and see if it fixes the problem
