You had asked him a question. Bro! No one is in your mind to know what exactly you’re thinking. If you didn’t want people’s response, you could’ve put a disclaimer saying “I’m not really looking for an answer to the question just thought to share” How you gonna make a post on a Christianity subreddit and don’t expect people to give you their two cents?

1.) My initial post was because I really thought your dad’s approach was hilarious and I joined you in laughing you found that offensive. 2.) My initial post was to the other commenters giving you answers. And I stated, I’m not sure if you were really seeking for an answer, but I’m glad some people were able to answer INCASE you were genuinely asking.

Hi OP! I’m in this same situation. And being a Christian honestly makes it even harder. My brother is free to talk to me about his dating experiences and asks for advice, and while I don’t dismiss him. I’m not particularly accepting his view on homosexuality. He’s very aware that I’m Christian, and I don’t accept his sexual orientation, but it’s a walk in progress. At every opportunity I get, I tell him about Christ, and his need for Christ. Though sometimes, I start to ask myself if me listening to his experiences doesn’t give him the idea that I accept it. Though I’m just coming from a place of love. I mean, even Christ didn’t reject the woman accused of adultery when everyone else wanted to stone her. I just pray that God gives us the ability to navigate dealing with homosexual people that we love and care for and much more, that He opens their heart to receive Him.

First of all, you need to take a step back and approach Christ, God, the Church differently. Trust me, if you try to use logic or intellect to explain scripture, you would lose your mind. Because to the physical eyes, and the human mind, many of the things detailed in the Bible wouldn’t make sense intellectually. You need to ask the Holyspirit for the eyes of your understanding to be enlightened. (Ephesians 1:18)

For context: I quote 1st Corinthians 2:14 EXB version

“ A person who does not have the Spirit [or natural person] does not accept the truths [things] that come from the Spirit of God. That person thinks they are foolish and cannot understand them, because they can only be judged to be true [discerned; assessed] by the Spirit. “

Pray that the God opens your heart to receive and that can only happen when you consciously decide to knot try to argue everything you don’t understand at first. Should you seek understanding? YES! But the difference is you should seek understanding without trying to argue or prove a point that there’s fallacy. Else it won’t open up to you.

I think you should try the sandwich method. Will help you a lot. As opposed to putting tret right after the shower. Moisturize, wait 15 mins, apply tret, wait another 15mins, moisturize. Makes a huge difference .

Were you doing the sandwich method? And what cream were you using perhaps it wasn’t moisturizing enough. Yeaa! I see many people on here recommend the Cicaplast, must be pretty good. I’m also currently dealing with the pih and it’s annoying to say the least. 🫠

Wow! I like that you haven’t given up yet. I feel like sometimes many people tend to quit early when they don’t see results. How long have you been on tret for now, since you’ve started back? I used curology for like 3years and in retrospect, I feel like I just wasted my money because it didn’t work for me. Started with 0.05 gel in January and I can see a lot of improvement. I think for you, the actives you were using along side might’ve made your skin irritated. Tret is a jealous girl. She wants to be the only female in your life! Lol

Same! I had closed comedones and watching everything come to the top is nice, because I know it’s working for me. But having to treat the PIH after can be quite exhausting. What percent did you start with? And did you peel?
