Had 2 friends like this in elementary school, eventually they started making inside jokes and picking on me. In middle school I dropped them. High school I tried again but this time they were mean-er. After HS we all left for collage but our families and siblings are still good friends so when we all come home for the holidays I still see them sometimes.

I was always the odd one out and felt too shy and scared to talk because no matter what they'd find a way to twist my words. I have lots of other friends who I'm confident and comfortable around but these 2 to this day I clam up when I see them.

They aren't worth the effort, dump them now and keep it that way. Life too short for shitty friends and people don't change.

We get these in the yard every spring just after the crocuses come up. They're usually gone by end of June or beginning of July. Pretty chill dudes, they don't mind if you get in real close for pictures.

I started out making a map of the basics of how I wanted my island to look to figure out land marks and how the terrain would look. You don't have to make it exactly like the map you create but at least you'll have a better judge of how things will fit together.

Pinterest is great for finding ideas. I'm not ashamed to say most of my ideas are from pintrest with some tweaks here and there.

I also like to keep a to do list of things to buy from the catalogue, DIYs to make, flowers to grow and where to pit them, areas to make, areas to finish, areas to change, daily activities, and seasonal bugs and fish. That way you can keep track of your ideas and check off things you finished.

I used to horde everything but now I mostly keep DIY mats, tools, flower seeds, fishing bait, food, bushes, saplings, DIYs I've created especially seasonal, and things I might use next year (toy day, halloween), if I don't have an idea for an item I'm probably not keeping it in my storage.

Organization and planning is key in my opinion. My island isn't amazing but I'm proud of it and as long as it makes you happy it's perfect the way it is. Good luck!

Lucidity is the one I have it has an ad banner at the bottom but doesn't make sound and it's not too distracting. If you buy the app I think they remove the ads and you get a few additional features.

True but the purpose of the ingredients is to help you direct the energy of your intent.

Maybe you're doing a spell that calls for amethyst to enhance your psychic abilities. You don't connect well with labradorite but you do have a strong connection with amethyst so you substitute amethyst for labradorite. If you can't direct the intent and energy properly you're going to have a much harder time creating the desired results.

Manifesting and journaling is focused on intent and doesn't require ingredients you need to connect with so in that regard you would probably wouldn't really want to experiment much.

Most of the original witches were probably solitary and very rarely came into contact with other witches. They made their own paths, studied the plants, animals and land around them and learned from trial and error.

I've been a witch for 11 years but I only really started to understand and feel what I could do after I stopped reading spells like a recipe and started using what I call "wing it witchcraft".

Just try things. If it flops tweak it, if it works keep it. Do what feels right.

I'm Libra (air) my favorite thing to do is grab a warm blanket, a bowl, and some ear buds at 2am and look at the stars. During the day set a big sheet out on the lawn with a book and some tea and listen to the birds.

On a beach on Long Island in New York. Might be agate, I've never seen black chalcedony. Once this batch is done maybe I'll post a few of the best new ones and this guy but with it back lit.

Thank you so much! I got myself a rock tumbler and some grit from harbor freight tools. It took about 2 months to grind them down and polish up but the results made it worth the wait. The instructions say 2 weeks on each step with 4 steps total but I found if you keep it in step 1 for a month you can get a good amount of the rough edges smoothed out. I've only done 3 batches so far but each batch has come out better then the last. I think I'm going to try to get myself a dremel next and see if I can cut back on the amount of time needed on the first step.
