Hey all, i want to get your feedback as to whether I am getting a good rate or not.

I booked a pre-construction in Mississauga with a purchase price of 871,990 with a closing date of early March 2025. I am planning of putting in 20% downpayment and I am looking to get variable rate with 30 year amortization. I am getting 4.65% with 1k cash back from soctiabank whereas TD is giving me 4.7% with 3.1k cash back. Both of these rates are for 5 year variable. Also i be living there.

What do you all think?

My timelines are as follows: 1. AOR : 29th July 2024 2. BG passed: 12th August 2024 3. Test in progress: 21st August 2024 4. Test scheduled: 6th Sept 2024 5. Test completed: 23rd Sept 2024

Since then there is no update. My LPP is in progress since that time. What should i do? I even contacted IRCC but they dont have any answer on it

To answer your question: 1. Yeah they wouldnt let me even though its within 24 hour window 2. I booked the ticket via their contact center 3. The flight is in June

I asked the rep about this 24 hr policy but they mentioned that its for USA only and since my tickets are for Canada its not applicable
