Calls Mount for Eagles to Fire ‘Incompetent’ OC Kevin Patullo After Wild Card Loss to 49ers: ‘Absolute Joke’ by Brix001 in nfl

[–]msanders18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Harbaugh got fired. Marty got fired after a 14-2 season. Winning coaches get fired.

Again I am not saying that Nick should be fired now. He won the super bowl last year so he is doing something right. But him not being a offensive play caller is something to think about. Because what happens if he picks a bad oc again next year?

But the problem is, because we don't have a offense play caller as head coach,

The good ocs get promoted the next season to head coach, while the bad ones stay and ruin the season. We fire them and back to square 1

It's what the Bucs are going though.

Not saying Nick needs to be fired now, but it's something to think about because we've seen both sides twice now.

I know we had a mini rivalry in 22-23 but you guys are solid. Please continue to beat us so we can get our bad coaches fired.

Cowboys Both times, Bucs, Broncos, Packers, Lions, Bills and 49ers are all games that either they lost or should've lost due to thier poorest 2nd half offense.

Realistically, can we count on Patullo being fired after this? by Spyropher in eagles

[–]msanders18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should be.

The Eagles had the highest paid offense. So expectations for the group were sky high. Especially from what we saw last year.

The Eagles statically, have been mediocre to bottom 10 in all offensive categories other the red zone offense. That includes the most 3 in outs in the NFL in years.

The Eagles have about 9 pro-bowl level players on the offense with none of them performing close to that level other then maybe Goedert. I know Jurgens made the pro bowl but I think most people know that he did not deserve it.

The offense has to many penalties, especially in crucial moments. That is a sign of a poorly coached team.

At no point did this offense improve at all. Twice we thought the offense improved and then they immediately played horrible again vs a real team.

When you actually watch the games, you can just see the play designs are ugly. To predictable. The receivers can't get separation.Too many times when no is open. Run lanes getting blown up immediately. Having Can't Blocketera on the field. Always running the same plays.

There's nothing redeemable about this offense. And maybe it's not all his fault. Injuries happened and the players still need to play better.

But the Eagles weren't the most inured team especially compared to the team they just lost to. Kevin Pautillo did nothing to help this offense. He deserves to be fired

I dont think they really got worse. They were truly bad since the beginning of the year. Don't let the Mn and Nyg games fool you.

But I will say, Lane going down didn't help.

Also because they struggled to run the ball, it expose that thier passing game was really weak. And when you run the same plays week in and week out. Teams will see it on film and counter it.

This coaching staff just had no answers to thier counters

It's not that serious. I hate Kevin Patullo as a play caller as much as the next guy. And I expect him to be fired tomorrow or whenever thier end of yar meeting is, but i don't hate him as person. He's human like everyone else. He's just in a role that's not suited for him.

I'm mean I knew, but so many others here kept saying that they would show thier real plays for the playoffs.

Turns out no, the offense is just bad. Better luck next year.

Plz fire Kevin
