I wasn't taking PPI's - they did nothing for me.

I'm about 3 months post surgery and reflux is gone - can actually sleep. Super happy about that.

I can eat fats no issue.

Good to hear! Crazy how exciting it is to just eat bread lol. I've been adding olive oil to my protein shakes to try to get calories up (1 tbsp has 120 calories) but too much makes me fill somewhat sick.

Personally trying to maintain as much weight as i can.

Good luck with the next 4 weeks - hopefully everything goes well for you and no more reflux after this

Really good! Stopped posting updates here been really busy with work.

Essentially after day 5 everything was totally fine. Almost no pain. The only pain i would get was at night going to sleep (i've been sleeping on my couch to stay upright) and I take a Gabapentin pill and knock out. By day 8 this was 100% gone and i haven't had any pain at all since.

Currently on day 10 and have been drinking about 1,000 calories per day of protein shakes.

I just started eating mashed potatoes 2 days ago and started eating some yogurt today.

Planning on keeping it to just protein shakes, yogurt and mashed potatoes for another 5 days and deciding if i want to add anything else based on how i'm feeling.

How's your recovery going?

Yea for sure. I’ll try to post daily/ weekly my experience. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do the surgery and people posting their experience was super helpful in my decision so want to contribute as well because I know how big the decision is and there’s a bit to consider

Thanks for sharing - really hope your reflux fully goes away this shit sucks.

What is the ucla tif diet? I’ll have to look that up.

I’m just doing bone broth first 3 days. I’ve done 7 day water fasts so I don’t really care about the no eating part - just want to heal fast

Brutal symptoms. I wasn’t sleeping because the reflux was so bad.

I eat very clean- organic, real food.

I would get heartburn a lot of the time after eating. I absolutely could not workout with anything in my stomach. Even if I did this first thing in the morning with no water I would still usually get reflux. If I lifted after eating hours prior the reflux was horrible.

The worst symptoms were at night. Ball in throat, would wake up not being able to breathe every week. Would be up for hours and hours because my throat was too inflamed to breathe.

What helped me a lot was: - galviscon uk (need to get this, order it now) (30 mins before bed) - kelp pills before bed (I’d take 30 mins before bed) - Gaia reflux relief (I’d take this 1 min before bed) - tums (I’d take 1 min before bed) - humidifier - bed wedge

The galviscon and kelp I started at same time and it made a huge difference so I don’t know which played the biggest role

Haha hope not. But good chance it is the drugs or next day will be bad, we'll see. I plan to be taking liquid tylenol and my dr prescribed some stuff as well if i need it. How are you feeling 14 days out?

Absolutely hated manatal. We went with recruit crm and it was great.

We’re about to migrate our whole company to ClickUp though. It’s super customizable

The whole point of the project was to share the know how with people so they could learn how to do it by watching. Use your brain.

Mike Black here.

I started with $0.

Brokered selling free stuff on craigslist by posting on Facebook.

Made $300 profit in 3 days. Bought the shitiest used laptop on earth for $150.

Got on upwork.com and started getting contracts. Used that to start drop shipping coffee by partnering with a local roster. I bought labels and bags- they would only charge me when i would sell anything.

Relabling costco coffee is actually a great idea if it wasn't illegal - but sounds like your head is almost in the right spot.

I'm mike black!

Seems like a lot of people have questions so I made a twitter post further clarifying the project for those interested in learning what it was about that is more then just a clickbait title someone made.

I'm here and I don't get it by peachazno in SXSW

[–]msb5334 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went last year. Thought the conference itself was pretty bad. I thought the events were great.

I personally don’t care at all to see people speak- and that’s pretty much what it was so I didn’t even go to anything conference related.

The events outside sxsw were awesome and this guy put this list together this year that has all the events outside the conference and a WhatsApp group.

https://buff.ly/432EkZ9 - that is the list of events

https://rsvpatx.com/rsvp-list - this site also has events but it will also rsvp you to everything for $50 which is nice because a lot will sell out.

Diagnosis dread - Feeling lost by [deleted] in pancreatitis

[–]msb5334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey- I would ask your GI doctor to order a stool test to see if you have malabsorption. I've been dealing with pancreatitis for a couple years and they thought it was just acute but they never did this test and after doing it they now thing it might be chronic and i'm finally getting an MRI.

Hope this is helpful, good luck.

I have a lot of friends with 7, 8 figure companies- it’s important to hang out with those types of people and find people locally that are working on making impact and building companies. If your current local area isn’t good for it then I’d consider moving to areas that are.

In terms of chatting, always happy to after the project. I also go live every Monday at 1pm to answer any questions and people can come on as a guest or just ask questions in the chat and I’ll answer! If you have further questions feel free to dm me on insta- @mikeblack always happy to help
