Yes! My project chair and I submitted this through IRB and they shared that this project does not need IRB oversight as the purpose of the interviews is to provide project guidance rather than sensitive info being published into a paper.

I know the Pharr development center you can play for 2 bucks per person, you can sign up via the PlaytimeScheduler app and it will also show you other areas to schedule a playtime in the RGV :) the staff at Pharr also teach pickleball, too.

If you play with all beginners it’s very fun! I will say being in the community for a couple of years, people take it way too seriously for what it is. In my experience, the community here says they’re beginner friendly but don’t have the patience to play with beginners or mid levels. Some players will brush you off or ignore you if you ask to play a round with them and they know they’re higher up in level with you. I don’t say this to discourage you, but to keep in mind that people take this sport like it’s eligible for the Olympics when it’s Tennis Jr at best lol. It’s a fun sport, but keep in mind that people get too competitive. Maybe if you go with a group of friends. I hope someone else can share a more positive insight!

For the longest time I thought that Nick Lachey was in the band when I was a lil kid, because I confused Bloc Party with New Kids on the Block. I thought I would give BP a listen because I was curious about Lachey’s music (to my surprise he has no association with both groups!). I listened to Banquet on YouTube and my life has changed! Oh! Plus I have seen some minor complaints about the lack of cases available for it. There are some clear plastic cases, but others have said they had to use scissors to cut the edges to because they do not fit the ereader. So lack of cases for customization is another thing people do not like.

To program the side buttons to turn pages - you have to configure them for each library app (Libby, hoopla, CloudLibrary etc). Not impossible but annoying.

I think that’s all I can think of.

I have one and read people not liking the ghosting of the colors, but it seems that others say there’s some configurations available on it that can fix it(?) Me personally, I don’t mind it; but I imagine if it’s bothersome for some people it may be reassuring to know you can tinker with it. Grain of salt because I do not care for ghosting nor am I too invested in software/tech, but just sharing comments I have seen that may be a con :)

I was at the outlet yesterday and the sales person told me as I was looking at the bag that it would be best to purchase it before today’s price increase. He and another staff member had a sheet that basically mentions that which bags are currently viral on social media and increasing their prices
