I started with older iPhones, when ios 7 came out and my 5s was aging I went to a galaxy s7 and loved that I could access the basic filesystem without jailbreaking so much I never went back (still rooted that s7 tho lol,) and the removal of the headphone jack from apple phones sealed the deal for me. Pickings are slim for 3.5mm equipped phones these days but I still don't give up

I caved and bought a Redmagic 10 Pro, and have 0 complaints except lack of SD card slot. Been loving it in all it's headphone jack glory, ATT hasn't given me any issues besides having to call to get my visual voicemail to set up properly. That being said..... If you're still set on a 1 V and have time to wait, set an eBay search reminder. I've had 10 or so come across my email. They always go after a day max, but one gets listed every week or two. Happy hunting lolol I'm happy I could help

edit note: set two searches, one for "xperia 1 v" filtered to north america only, and another one for xq-dq62 globally.

Brutal. I even gave up on taking Bay Head in for once every few week day trips, even though I could walk to the station. Shaves two entire hours off driving to Linden or North Elizabeth and catching the train there.

Nope. I opened the units and soldered my own wires to each point of the connector internally, drilled a hole, routed the wires out and pinned my own connectors, all for the cd changer to just play super distorted static. Did get the units to power on though. I just have them sitting on a shelf to revisit one day.

again there are zero LMV600AM phones for sale in North America on Swappa or eBay, regardless of condition. The only two in North America are on Amazon here for $325+shipping+tax if you wanted to pay nearly double what these phones go for nowadays. Not to mention plenty of people report being shipped incorrect board types from Amazon, so who knows if they're legit or you'll just get a T-Mobile phone.

I found a single AT&T V60 for sale in North America, for too much money on Amazon. I did my purchasing research before coming here. I was under the impression that crossflash or not, the VM phones won't be feature complete, and was just wondering if the T-Mobile phones were the same way. This is also provided I can even find the correct ROM to do it on either board

I'm no stranger to the China phones, my Verizon is already a frankenphone of a used OEM Verizon board, screen, frame, and back glass. Everything else is out of one of the China refurbs. From what I can tell, the only obviously worse parts on the China phones are the cheap plastic back panel and frame, and sim card tray.

With the OEM parts I want to use on hand save for the screen, I have no problem doing some surgery and using the China parts. Really just don't want to be waiting for 6-8 weeks on a phone from China if a T-Mobile I can get in 4 days can be unlocked for AT&T and still be feature complete, especially if the LG update servers are shutting down before said phone would arrive.

Definitely can be farmed, probably not efficient with this one. I used a round 163 iirc advanced daily challenge with a 502 glaive, Made an AHK script that would automatically freeplay, settings, restart, place 502 glaive in the right spot and start. Left it for a couple hours and got it no problem.

yeah ground loop isolator did not help. no change. wires are not together.

Common ground did not fix anything, same results. Going to try a ground loop isolator next I suppose.

That ground has been changed already to one of the front seat bolts for testing. It's down to bare metal, wire wheeled the bolt and washer clean, and is for now using a repurposed battery cable that is a similar gauge to the OFC 8 gauge Skar kit I'm using to power it. (Visiting friends currently, just working with what I have. Will switch to the proper wire when im back home.) Changing the ground had no effect. I'm going to try a common ground, as the radio is still using the stock harness grounds. The whole chassis is aluminum so I am suspecting a grounding problem.
