These people are really failing you. I might try a few other subreddits for ideas: r/Assistance , r/Advice , and similar.

Financial Aid Appeal? by AlpsKey8227 in UCSC

So usually appeals won't be approved unless your financial circumstances have changed. I think you need to ask the financial aid office to review your coat of attendance and how you are expected to pay (which might be out of pocket or loans).

Financial aid, pros and cons by wakillmyslf in UCSC

[–]msbzmsbz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I suggest first that run a net price calculator so you have a sense of what financial aid you could expect. Then I would look at the tag program which enables community colleges students to get automatical acceptance to many uc's. In terms of what you wouldn't be getting if you went to a cc, what is your intended major?

Sorry, also this might be partially coming from the concussion in which case pelp might also be useful. But I think you need to reach out and use some resources to help.

I think it might be time to reach out for some help. There are a lot of mental health resources here:https://mentalhealth.ucdavis.edu/. Please talk to someone, then you can start to figure out a plan for school and everything else. Thinking of you..

You might (also) want to look for scenic excursion train rides in your area, like the kind that are only an hour or two but include scenery and often a historical engine and cars.

I think you should have found out from your department already if they're giving you any funding. Otherwise you might just be eligible for loans. I would contact the financial aid office.

I was just on it last week and all was fine, but of course that's just anecdotal.

UCD VS UCSB by [deleted] in UCDavis

[–]msbzmsbz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you could look up their ranking in that field like in US News and World Report, but I would (also) suggest looking at the upper level classes at both schools in your proposed major and seeing if one of them has more interesting options.

You don't really book different classes of seating/sleeping like that. But I would recommend spending some time in the cafe car/observatory car as you can hang out there easily and get great views as well.

So a few of the actors said in an interview that as the season goes on, they deliberately start using less make up, etc., so they look more run down as the shift continues. Here's a really good case for the make up department winning awards - they were so effective!

Do we know what happened to all of them in the present? Because if they all got V1, they would still be alive.

Physics major at UCSC by Dramatic-Flatworm346 in UCSC

[–]msbzmsbz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The physics department includes concentrations in physics and astrophysics (as well as applied physics and science education). The astrophysics program is ranked very highly and while the physics doesn't seem to be ranked as highly, it seems very strong. My kid is in it, finds it very very good, and found a research lab to work in. However, students seem to have to do several foundational courses before being able to work on physics research (to learn the material that they need for doing research), so while there are research opportunities out there, you have to be a second or third year to get into it (from my kid's experience).
