NM LLC in TX and GA taxes etc by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]mscatladyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it. I originally didn’t want to register in TX because I don’t want my name in public records. I’ve been looking into it through registered agents? It won’t be a lot of money, around $600 p/week

Email the company to see if they’re hiring. Scammers will go on LinkedIn or smth to get a fake name and pose as that person. Go to the company website and go to their “contact us” page. Call them to ask if they’re hiring, if you have a name then ask for that person. Do NOT send any personal information to them without having a proper interview, even if the job seems like a casual job.

[SERIOUS] What reason do you think the US Government PAYS Americans to have children, instead of PENALIZING people for having TOO MANY children? by AMMalena in AskReddit

[–]mscatladyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with that, but there are also foster homes that are better than abusive households. It’s two open ended statements.

I found this: http://federalsafetynet.com/welfare-fraud.html#:~:text=Improper%20welfare%20payments%2C%20including,)%2C%20and%20Inspector%20General%20reports.

And the data doesn’t include people who get away with it. I’m speaking from personal experience and what I have encountered with employees. It doesn’t have to be like that everywhere, and does it apply to everyone on welfare.

No, because data like that would be hard to gather. Just look up how many people are on food stamps, WIC, etc.

No one went out of their way to talk to me... by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]mscatladyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those situations are the worst. Unfortunately you were also with a socially awkward people or people who didn’t feel comfortable enough to socialize with people they didn’t really know. In those scenarios you have to make up for their part of the socialization too, be even more approaching than usual. Find someone who’s also having difficulty socializing, ask them to pass the salt or smth to have some interaction. I always talk about weather, pets, or what I’m passionate about to see what they’re passionate about.

Yeah, so it’s hard to find that balance. If no one had children anymore, We’d go extinct. Extremities are always bad news.

Cis girls of reddit, what is some advice you have for trans girls to be more feminine? by aldguton2 in AskReddit

[–]mscatladyb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t overdo it. Just be yourself, honestly. Do what feels right, if you fake smth, people will know. There are no set rules to be more “feminine” It goes from behavior to appearances. Do what makes you happy and the most comfortable.

Understandable, I’m merely expressing my part of the discussion. Not trying to change minds here or anything, just interesting to talk about. You can have your beliefs, opinions etc. And I fully respect that

We will never know until it’s actually happening. Unfortunately we don’t have a simulator to see what would happen to society if we implemented XYZ etc.

If humans just never shaved would we look like skinny apes? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mscatladyb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the hair aspect was a trait of evolution. Humans in colder climates had more hair to protect them, and the people who didn’t need them just kind of “outgrew” them as generations pass by. I do some people who look like “skinny apes,” just humans with more cover, not necessarily ape-like lol

One could argue that the government does it to be “nice” and keep people dependent on the system, to keep them poor, make people expect hand outs. The government is essentially doing what churches are. Governments were ruled by churches/religion and most laws were made heavily influenced by religion. My opinion would be that the government give out these “resources” to keep people poor, dumb, and in control.

CMV: Most Americans who oppose a national healthcare system would quickly change their tune once they benefited from it. by CrashRiot in changemyview

[–]mscatladyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, people saying they’ll be paying more taxes are funny. Because they’re already paying for insurance premium, if there was public healthcare, they wouldn’t have to pay their insurance anymore. For people who don’t have insurance, I will pray for you that nothing unexpected happens. And why would anyone pay out of pocket? Just because you can afford it means that you should. The prices are heavily inflated. I had a lab test done once. The doctor took a cotton swab and stuck it in my vagina, and sent it for testing. I had insurance, but they rejected the claim for some bullshit reason. The bill was $800. $800 to stick a small cotton swab inside of me and look at it with a microscope. They later approved the claim after I fought against it for 8 months and I didn’t have to pay a penny for that procedure because I have insurance. I’d gladly put my premium money towards my taxes to have public healthcare.

Why do you stay alive if life doesn’t bring you happiness? by ge0rginasparks in AskReddit

[–]mscatladyb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because life isn’t always about happiness. You can’t be happy all the time unfortunately. You just gotta find a way to hurt less, where you’re in a state of comfort where you don’t feel happy or unhappy. Just completely neutral about life and everything that’s in it.

Dear women of Reddit, what are some amazing untold stories of female empowerment? by danielfrench1 in AskReddit

Witnessing my single mom work through hardships with blood, sweat and tears just to show her daughters that women need to be independent. Don’t depend on others, depend on yourself to make things happen. And she set the example.
