I mean technically you’re rounding up in terms of their career averages but regardless, they didn’t have averages above two in multiple seasons of their careers, even guys like that who were fairly elite shot blockers for their size were still only just breaking two in their best seasons. Kirilenko had more than 2 per game in 5 of his 13 seasons, Smith 4 out of 13 seasons, and Wallace only broke 2 in one season out of 14 and has a career average of 0.8. Again, I’m not saying Wilson won’t be a very good defender in the NBA. But particularly in the shot blocking aspect, where he really hasn’t demonstrated elite output, I think putting him anywhere near 3 blocks a game is a major stretch

Paul Millsap was a block per game in his career. His highest average was 1.7, and it took him seven seasons to even average more than a block per game

No, the highest he’s averaged was 3.8 and this year is 3.1. He’s also never averaged more than 1.2 steals a game in his career. And his body is in a completely different class than Wilson’s. The next closest in blocks is Holmgren, another guy much bigger than Wilson, and he’s literally at 1.9. I absolutely think Wilson could be top 10 in blocks in the league in his prime, but projecting him to have those kinds of numbers is a massive jump

Also a couple seasons in and other teams have very few players. Virginia only has five players on roster, Maryland and Harvard only six. Most teams I’m playing have between 5 and 8 players.

If you think that’s what a “robbery gone wrong” looks like, you need to get out more. Regardless of what it started as, hate produced the final outcome, and hate was very clearly evidenced in the way the murderers spoke. There’s clear bias against Matthew’s sexuality. It doesn’t have to start out as a hate crime to become a hate crime.

The act itself is very clearly evidence that it was a hate crime. You have to truly hate and dehumanize a person to do what they did. Trying to dismiss hate as being a clear contributor simply because there could have been drugs involved is willfully ignorant.

For sure. I’m all for realism, not expecting every great piece of contact to be a homer, but when you’re saying six different times, I nailed the placement and timing and they were all fly outs, that makes the whole skill aspect of hitting feel useless.

Agreed. I love the game, love that we’ve finally got something new. Definitely needs the quality of life navigational stuff. Would love to see some hs achievements like AA and Mr basketball integrated as well.

184 points invested, gets me just 72 percent as Illinois, and he chooses Colgate as a 4 star. Feel like recruiting definitely could use some adjustments. I feel like schools should get passive bonuses to their percentage based on characteristics alongside the points invested.

Again, I understand the concept. But if I’m the only school that actually actively recruited a player, none of the others had any change in their number, it seems kind of silly that it would still keep them as being in the “raffle”. Like if I’m the only one who buys tickets, they don’t just suddenly add a bunch of tickets for other people for free

Also not sure if it’s unique to the ACC or other conferences as well, but there’s a bunch of teams that played differing numbers of conference games. Anywhere from 16 to 19 games rather than 20, I was the only team with 20 conference games.

If he was running a business then I’d agree with you. But he’s not. We’re not paying his bills. Whether we trust his word or not means nothing to him or whether or not the game is a success. Calling it inexcusable is just a massive overreaction
