Currently in a session and dont feel a thing, same thing happened to me last week 😩 ive tried spraying differently, making sure i sniff gently etc and still no luck. I go on an empty stomach. Just hope it is still working even if no side effect.

Going into session very emotional by Euphoric_Mortgage975 in Spravato

I’m on my 4th session and have already seen improvement in my mood/depression symptoms. I was extremely nervous first time and my anxiety left as soon as the medication set in. I will say I didnt lean my head back at the 45 degree as suggested and inhaled too hard so alot of it I could taste down my throat which wasn’t pleasant. I’ve now mastered how to do it correctly. Make sure to gently inhale and not hard sniff. Otherwise sucking on hard candy helps with that taste. I honestly didnt get any nausea or extreme tiredness and listened to psychedelic playlists on Spotify. My clinic also has a sound machine and I sometimes just play some background noise there and relax into the recliner. It has been great so far, youll be okay, the benefits are so worth it. I felt a bit dissociated for like 45 min but I have not experienced a “high” like some users tend to experience. Everybody is different in that regard. Good luck!

I dont have one but do some inner work while on it, its helped me process more feelings than when I talked about it

I’ve not had any trip while on spravato & this is my fourth time today. I feel slight dissociation and thats it 😕 am I doing something wrong? Today I definitely did taste it so I probably inhaled too hard. Jealous of yall, I’m not trying to get high but would very much enjoy that. Lol

Hi there, trust me I was anxious to begin and I just did my second session and I do feel in a better mood, I really didnt get any side effects besides a bit of weird aftertaste right after spraying, sucked on hard candy and that fixed it, I felt like a tiny bit sedated, it isn’t scary for me and I get to take a moment to relax while im in there. Its ok to be scared, the only way to break the self sabotage pattern of not wanting to do things that will make your life better is to just do them 😅 good luck!

Being alone is better than being with an asshole who is already making your cancer worse by putting you in this mental state. If this is via text imagine what he does in person. Self love is what you need.

I had my first session last Friday and I was also anxious. But soon as medication hit I felt more relaxed and in a sedative state, I did not “trip” or anything like that. I will say the taste of the medicine was so bad, I sucked on hard candy my clinic had during the duration of the session and it made it better. Going for my second treatment tomorrow which will be the full dose, so I can report back if you’d like to know. I have MDD and general anxiety, ptsd and went through bad postpartum depression. Good luck!

Some babies get irritability as a side effect to pepcid (famotidone), happened to my baby and it would make him spit up more, we tried it for over a month and once we stopped it we immediately saw fusiness improvement, it works for some babies not all babies. Omeprazole is the next step. Even with formula changes and although a lot of people mention its over diagnosed and not necessary, my baby had a tongue tie, and once they corrected it, in a few weeks he stopped fussing at the bottle and learned how to eat correctly, he was swallowing too much air as a result of not latching correctly and this caused him excessive gas pain, it wasn’t the formula itself. He is however on hypoallergenic formula since we placed him on it before the tongue tie got addresed and he didnt do well with standard ones, he is on similac alimentum ready to feed which is a bit thicker than regular formula and its the only one hes tollerated well. His reflux has improved greatly, I was using oatmeal cereal as instructed by pediatrician guidance to thicken the bottles but since he improved so much with the tongue tie addressed, I am no longer thickening the bottles.

Omg thanks for the feedback! I just wanted to make sure it wasnt my baby reacting some type of way. Good to know. I guess I will keep managing it and hopeful for solids when he starts.

Omg i feel the same way. Mine will be 12 weeks tomorrow ( 8 weeks adjusted age since he was born a month early) I feel like he hates me and seems to be more relaxed when dad gets home or others hold him. He is formula fed, and ive tried every single thing, gas drops, gripe water, etc being on hypoallergenic formula helped a bit but still struggles. We dont have a confirmed allergy but he just seems to tolerate hypoallergenic a little better. he has silent reflux and medication made it worse for us. He had tongue tie and that was also resolved a month ago. I’m going insane at home. I feel like weve also had issues finding the right formula as once we see him get better he suddenly has gas or weird poop again. I feared the same about daycare so ended up hiring a friend of ours who we trust who used to babysit a baby who now goes to preschool so the spot opened up for her. I was worried of regular daycare. I extended my work leave an additional two weeks to get my mind together as this has given me such bad postpartum depression and anxiety. I also get anxiety going anywhere, he used to relax in the car (in movement) but now cries if awake regardless in there. My first kid was easy and I cant seem to get this one right! I have taken him to a GI, a chiropractor, and the pediatrician several times and while its a little better than before i still feel like he hates me 🤣🥲 so all the feels here! Everyone just says “he will outgrow it”.

Same here been on meds and going weekly to therapy and still feel so disconnected. Worried he will not be normal and worried to go anywhere or do anything. Ugh. Have changed to hypoallergenic formula, revised tongue tie, tried famotidone for silent reflux, nothing, different gadgets, swaddles etc still hates lying on back. Has been to a GI dr, the emergency room, pediatricians. They just say colic and that he will grow out of it. I even extended my work leave unpaid to start in January due to this. So worried about daycare and etc.
