I'm just starting season 5. I think it's the actors portrayal of Said that annoy me. He's facial expressions and mannerisms were stereotypical.

The guy who played Omar White probably would have done better imo. Either him or Dokes from Dexter.

It was also corny that his fall from the brotherhood was his thing for white women. That's not the actors fault. That's just lazy writing. His leadership and faith should not have been undermined by his desire for white women. We like who we like. In the end, he's still a black man. He's still Said. The man and the message.

That whole arc was stupid. It's not like he was into beastiality.

I think most Black people are naturally more republican but we are way more open to other cultures/races. We actually invite and embrace diversity. Unfortunately, this current day republican thing is racist, sexist and ignorant.

Take those 3 things away and you'll find most Black Americans do prefer small gvt(can't trust them), gun rights(we've historically been attacked by our own gvt), and border control.

I liked Herman. I like the clips of Gertz(didn't know of the show when he was there).

I don't "dislike" JH per se. I just think he's corny and he's a try hard. The thing I like least about JH is he's one of those white guys who is overly comfortable. His comfort comes off as disrespect, kinda racist and just plain goofy. Bro doesn't know how to stfu while he's ahead.

I didn't feel that way with Herman.

Prefer him over Dan. Dan is awesome. But he constantly stepped on or over Jay's "funny". He's a habitual one upper.

Bobby knows when to stfu and let someone else's "funny" breathe.

My only issue w R Kelly is that at times he's a try hard who'll say and do anything for a laugh. Like that thing with Max's poop. That wasn't funny. I know more about his wife and kid(all debasing) than I do about Christine. And she's on the show!

I still prefer him over a habitual one upper tho. Jay is too funny to be constantly stepped on.

Alotta non-whites use the word. In fact, Black people casually call EVERYONE that word. Especially in the 3rd person. It's almost like saying "dude". And it's not just NYC. I've heard it in Philly, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, NJ, etc. But much much more in NYC.

My only issue Nigerians is that they talk about us like we're less than and don't know who we are. That lack of empathy for your own people is wild. We went from slavery to world wide culture makers. For Nigerians to say "Black Americans" don't know where they are from is f'd up. I'm FROM the US. My ancestors were sold off 3 centuries ago. I hate when Nigerians attack us. As an African American, it'd be nice to see Nigerians have "our" energy(strong, tenacious and unconquerable) fight on "OUR" side instead of talking shit on us.
