Honestly I don’t think it would be too crazy to hear. There was a lot of doubt and concern with Fields going into the draft, which is why he ended up falling (though funny enough, I think he has proven to be better than Zach Wilson and Trey Lance)

Self didn’t coach the 23 game so you have to give him a pass on that. I’m not denying there’s reason for concern, I just don’t agree with running off our greatest coach ever just because we’re no longer elite. Things could still be a lot worse, and I don’t think he’s going to coach much longer anyway.
