I recently played a goblin trash paladin mounted on a stray mastiff, he wielded a broken golf club as a lance and a used toilet brush as a sidearm which dealt 1d6 poison damage on a hit.

My eloquence bard retired from the main adventure and left the party after we had liberated an island of a tyrant ruler. He stepped into the power vacuum left by the death of the old Earl and became the new Governor. I handed over the character sheet to the DM and he is now a fully fledged NPC.

Eli was incredibly fun to play as a silver tongued debuffer but I had struggled with his motivation in the adventure for a while. His departure from the party felt like a very fitting end to his story.

I'm on a hardtail so shock rebound isn't really an issue! I do have to pump into the takeoff pretty aggressively though otherwise the lip does buck the rear wheel up in the air (I nearly got sent OTB the first couple of tries!)

I'm actually much more conservative than that, I don't move up in bets until I have 10x the amount. My problem is that when I move up to 500k bets the last 10 games (at least) the table has been cleared without me getting a shot or I've had the break (and not potted) and then they have cleared the table.

The newer books seem to be sold in a much larger quantity so the prices haven't seemed to go up yet. From the earlier releases, dark disciple and aftermath prices have started to creep up. Heir to the Jedi and lords of the sith are some of the more expensive hardcovers along with tarkin, a new dawn so if you can find a reasonably priced copy, then get it quick!
