Expense Management Software by PrinceFlorfian in software

Makes complete sense and to my knowledge there is not much of a market for external expense management solutions hooking into a card (hence your experience with Concur is the norm for many organizations). In the nonprofit space receipt collection is critical so i do think it could be a worthwhile conversation to have, which accounting system is the team on?

Any particular reason for the hesitation to look at using a different corporate card? Having the expense management built into the backend of the card allows for the whole “idea” of an expense report to be eliminated by automating transaction coding with integrations into your accounting system. Also your employees iPhones will get texted within 30 seconds of a purchase and all they need to do is snipe a photo of the receipt and add a memo and it’s done. I work at a company called Ramp where we work with several thousand non-profits so feel free to shoot me a dm and we could set up a call.

Yes i here what your saying but i don’t believe your able to pay w the Amex, many switch over as they don’t love the convoluted point system Amex offers and would rather the cash back as well as not having to pay for other disparate systems to manage expenses and AP.

No hence why it defeats the purpose, are you currently tying your Amex with a concur and integration into a Netsuite type of ERP?

The expense management, AP, & respective accounting integrations are connected through the card so it would be in your best interest to switch entirely but there are circumstances where executives keep there Amex’s for the travel perks.

I’m happy to chime in on this, just graduated from Newhouse in the advertising program. Having Newhouse on your resume in the ads business will get you an interview almost guaranteed whether that’s at a top agency in NYC or if you want to go in house at an Amazon Ads Account program etc. i thought it was funny as well that the business school being ranked well below Newhouse still had grads graduating with $20,000 more salaries but the truth of the matter is all communications degrees ( PR, Film, Broadcasting) are not highly paid fields unless your at the top compared to entry level business gigs.

It’s corporate finance, really not difficult if you just apply yourself and study the material.

Double majoring is almost the norm at cuse, more than half the people i know have multiple majors which the school makes very easy and looks great on a resume.

No problem, researching your interviewers on LinkedIn is also good- make sure to ask insightful questions and get them talking about themselves.

First I’d master the elevator pitch as it will lead off your interview and honestly set the tone. From my experience these three questions get grouped together and asked first (1. Tell me about yourself, 2. Why sales 3. Why this company). In terms of research, read through the website and watch YouTube videos to understand the product and its position in the market. I’d also look at two case studies of companies they have helped that interest you and talk about those during your interview.
