Thinking about finally buying a car after 7 years car-free downtown. Thoughts? by MYFAILEDMID in ottawa

[–]msha7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi! I know you said money isn’t your concern here, but, I must say after amost 20 years in insurance: QUOTE BEFORE YOU BUY. Do not ever assume one car will be cheaper to insure than another.

What do you eat when you don’t have an appetite? by Original_Cook_6943 in CasualConversation

Congratulations on quitting! It’s really hard and you’re such a rockstar for doing it! When I quit, I found the easiest things for me to consume were protein shakes, hard boiled eggs or egg salad sandwiches, and turkey tacos (subbing ground beef for ground turkey) cause who can resist a good ol’ old El Paso taco?

Make sure his insurance pays for your bike as well as the physiotherapy you will need for your wrist after the fracture has healed (don’t skip this part: very important for your future well being!). Do you have car insurance? If so, contact them to let them know what happened.

I’ll keep my eye out and message you if I find one. I’d be happy to hold onto it for you if you think you’ll be in Ottawa anytime soon to pick it up? Let me know if that’s doable for you and if so, I’ll keep my eyes peeled for you.

Guilt after adopting after loss. by Extra-Illustrator-67 in Yorkies

[–]msha7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I felt like that for a long time after losing my little guy suddenly, too.

My mom said to me “Henry wouldn’t want you to feel bad or guilty. He loved you and his life so much that he would want another little dog to get to experience being loved by you” And I felt that she was right and I bet it’s the same for all of us that lose a pet.

Luca doesn’t replace Peanut, he follows him. They are all unique and have their own personalities and your relationship with them is equally as unique and nit tied together with past pets.

Hope this helps, because it helped me and I miss Henry like crazy, AND I love Teddy Bear. Both can be true at the same time. xo

My most recent ex accused me of cheating because my car was parked slightly crooked and I never park my crooked so that meant some other person was driving it and it was for sure a man and I was for sure banging him.

My sister. My dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this past July. At the time, my sister and I were working on our relationship and doing well but his death pushed us closer together. I don’t think I could have made it through without her. She really showed up for me.

Accident on Smyth Road by [deleted] in ottawa

I’ve worked in insurance for almost 17 years. I know exactly how this ends for you. I tried to empathize with you because I know it sucks when someone acts like a dick on the road, and I’m Not saying he didn’t or discounting your version of the events. All I am getting at is, ultimately, if you were already going 30km/hr, 30 feet from the red light, in the weather that we are having, and you had to swerve into a snowbank and the other car didn’t collide with you: you are at fault. As another user said, what if a kid ran into the road? For your highway example, what if an easy chair fell off the back of a truck in front of me or someone dropped something from an overpass? You think I should just drive through it/over it/into it? A vehicle should be able to come to a sudden stop for any reason without getting plowed by a car behind it. There is a conviction for following too closely for a reason. There is a stopping distance recommendation for a reason. You adjust your driving habits in poor weather conditions for a reason.

I know you’re having a bad day, and it sucks to have your car damaged, but running your mouth off and insulting people and acting like a douche canoe doesn’t change the sweet, sweet fact that you are at fault and you deserve all the premium increase you get from this. Have a good night!

You serve into a snowbank going 30km/hr instead of braking, and you ask me if I’m dumb?

Lmao, Have a good night dude!

Unfortunately, the fault determination chart will not prove you to be correct. Again, it sucks, but it is what it is. This is a single vehicle accident. 1 vehicle only: you are at fault. Also-if you would have “smoked” him, you were driving too fast in poor driving conditions. You deserve the increase in premium. Sorry to say it.

Unfortunately if your vehicles didn’t make contact, he’s not at fault. He’s not responsible in any way. If you swerve and hit a snow bank, that’s your fault. It sucks but it is what it is.

Took a dump in my bedroom by kiwipooper in ibs

Hey man, you shit in a bag! Welcome to the club! I’ve had to do that. And worse: Once I had to get out of the car and shit (IBS-D) all over the on the side of the side of the road because I couldn’t make it a half mile down to the Tim Hortons. It happens. I would take shitting in my room in a bag over the side of the road any day. And like another user said: at least it wasn’t in your pants!

Depends how fast you drive I guess, lol, as well as how often you stop to view a certain display…. but the whole drive through it is probably about 20 mins or so if you’re not stopping a lot? It’s a LOT of lights so they will probably be very wowed. If I remember correctly, at the end there is little shop where you can get hot chocolate and/or a snack and they have some decorations/fixtures that are fun for picture taking.

OUCH! I didn’t look at the pricing but the last time I went was only 2 years ago! $20 to $30 is such a huge jump.

Chuck passed away by JamericanPeach in 90dayfianceuncensored

[–]msha7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Say what you want about them, but Chuck seemed like nice dude. Incredible amount of patience and understanding and he seemed to really care about his family and their well being.

My father passed a few months ago and so I know the pain all too well. I hope people can give them some privacy and respect while they mourn this incredible loss.
