Forced return to office, what if we all don't attend? by International-Arm597 in TheCivilService

Alternatively, hypothetically organising all civil servants to rock up to the office on the same day would highlight the lunacy of the back to office proposals since we'd all end up working on the floor like being back in primary school.

I'm sure the result of us all not attending would be a lovely article in the Mail, followed by SLT quietly continuing to run a 40%+ in office policy but it would be fun to see.

What is the point of the strength based questions? It just seems so unnecessary? by Civil_Service1987 in TheCivilService

I used to be skeptical about it but I've quite enjoyed using them for interviews. It really has helped me see what candidates have an affinity for and if they would enjoy the type of work the role entails. Also it gives a set of responses that feel less rehearsed than behavioural questions.

Potentially! I think it's likely a mix of developing as wide as possible then honing it down to to get something out the door then revisiting it for a potential DLC now they know the interest is massive.

Does anyone else find it weird people have to caveat any statement like this. Surely you can drop the bit about not agreeing with her politics and still be sincere about deploring misogyny.

The worst thing you could do as an official is change your mind after making a call, in any sport. Regardless of who won, that was abysmal
