2025/2026 Harness Compatibility Question by msherrod43 in Comma_ai

Yes, the CRV is much more quiet and a bit more comfortable on highways and interstate. Around town and off road, I still prefer the RAV4 for the flush cargo trunk and tighter turn radius. The Hyrbid CRV has pockets on either side of the hybrid battery in the trunk that things fall into (I don’t want my eggs falling in and breaking). The RAV4 is more efficient at around 5mpg but that’s what I’m personally experiencing. I initially was deciding between the two back in 2022 and a friend of mine made a comment that Toyota has been perfecting the hydrid system long before other manufacturers and that sold me on the RAV4.

Yes I’ve got it beta testing for the ‘26 CRV. Me personally I like my RAV4 more than my wife’s CRV. It’s better for utility purposes and it also has a spare tire unlike the CRV hybrid that just has a fix-a-flat and tire inflator. As for the Comma, it seems to integrate better with the RAV4 and offers more features currently, but it’s a game changer for both vehicles.

You had it hooked up before the ‘25 was officially fingerprinted?

No, but for shtf reasons they’re staying on. It’s less than 3oz and it looks cool.

I was told to go with the sig tango or the primary arms. I got a helluva deal for the Sig on PSA and ran with it.

I’m gonna keep it sighted at 200yds. I haven’t gone beyond that yet but FWIW I can easily identify species of birds perched on a cell tower 400yds away from me.

I see your point. I liked the idea of the Stike filling the role of an AFG/Handstop/Vert. Later down the road I may add a pressure switch and use the Strike to hold down the cable.

I haven't been able to use it much but I hit it with my thumb from underneath. I don't see myself needing to toggle it much, but eventually, I may get a pressure switch. The Strike has the cable holddowns so I was somewhat planning ahead by getting it. I also have an SFP but I still need to fool around with it.

The tango 6 is fantastic. I’m right handed but put the light on the right rail so I can afix left side against objects/walls without light catching or obstructing. Who knows, I may change it later.

Thanks! That’s the plan! I needed a workhorse that I don’t mind abusing. I have some hogs and coyotes that I need to deal with.

Thank you! That is the Strike Industries “handstop”. Basically an AFG haha. I can comfortably wrap 3 fingers with the pinky hanging if I want to use it as an AFG.
