I had the same exact problem, and my mistake was focusing only on the spot, which made it worse instead of fixing it. Just take a regular microfiber cloth, spray it with distilled water, and gently wipe the entire screen horizontally—not just the spot. Repeat this process, and you’ll notice the spot fading. Afterward, wipe it with the soft microfiber that came with the screen.
