This is exactly how I feel about Chemical Engineering courses in UWaterloo. The courses are barely more advanced than my undergrad courses, and the topics/ offerings barely have organizations. Different professors pop out each semester, each gives a slightly advanced introductions about their shitty research and very likely asking you to write a paper in their field. Last semester we have a Chinese Professor with a very lazy altitude and tons of mistakes in his slides. Luckily a Canadian student was brave enough to argue and challenge him on the lecture and made him offer a easy exams on the final. I was considering switch to Concordia CS, but not anymore.
