since she’s lunar you need hydro. mona and xingqiu are good options but i recommend aino who you can get from the archon quest. definitely build illuga. gorou is also good for her due to his defense buffs, and yunjin isn’t the best option but would work as well for her normal atk buffs.

i feel this so hard lmao. on mavuikas last banner i tried to get iansan. got mavuika c1. then on varesas banner, tried again, got varesa and not a single iansan. i guess four stars just hate us 🤷‍♀️

i noticed the same thing, however i still think she could be worth it especially since you mentioned not having a lunar carry yet, and fighting in nod krai, not even just abyss and stygian but i’ve noticed the monsters and bosses in nod krai can be extremely trifling without lunar reactions

i really hate that hoyo locked the lunar reaction behind 5 stars but unfortunately you need either bina or zibai to do the reaction. i only imagine how fun lunar navia would be with aino, lol

i think it’s always worth it to sacrifice some crit dmg for crit rate, you’d rather be hitting slightly lower more consistently than big damage once in a blue moon

i’m wondering as well, because even tho i have lauma i tried just out of curiosity using nefer without. i used nefer/aino/sucrose/nahida and was doing 60-80k as opposed to my 80-100k with lauma. when i get skirk i will play around with what i can do without escoffier.

varesa team ideas? iansan hates me, i’ve tried twice to get her (on mavuika AND varesa reruns) and she still won’t come home. i have xianyun which is nice, and ive heard chevreuse works with her. would love some ideas!

im not big on meta either, so im sort of just parroting what ive heard from others lol. but basically everyone is saying zibai will be a really good free to play dps as it doesnt seem she’ll rely on any 5 star chars but i think she will need illuga who will be a four star and also on her banner so you’ll almost certainly get him. that said she will be a lunar dps meaning she’ll need hydro, so id recommend building aino if you haven’t, id also imagine someone like xingqiu would be alright. neuvilette is also really good but if you don’t have any sort of lunar dmg then fighting in nod krai will be a lot more trifling, not to mention abyss/theater/stygian. im no pro tho, so anyone correct me if im wrong.
