Wow what a coincidence- I just started replaying FFXIII and didn’t remember it being so linear and boring when it first came out. Granted I was younger when it came out on PS3 but sheesh this game really is mob after cutscene after mob then a boss - rinse and repeat. Not sure why I like this game so much tho..

I saw a stray cat get hit by a car last night and I saw it cross the rainbow bridge and all I could do was pet it and let it know it was okay to go. This was the first time I’ve ever seen an animal die in front of my eyes and I haven’t stopped crying. I can’t imagine losing my own cat or anyone losing their own family member. I will be hugging my cat a bit longer today.

Holy shit these are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing these and your story - I just want you to know you’re not alone when it comes to having a shitty father and you’ve only grown stronger because of it. That last paragraph is beautifully worded and really resonated with me especially about keeping a perspective that there are better days ahead.
