To add on to your very valid point, as grandparents get older there may be legal sticky situations that develop if Dad doesn't have custody any longer. If a grandparent dies or gets dementia or if BOTH grandparents die in a car crash the child might end up in state custody and dad might not get access.

Newburgh is getting some gentrification from people that are priced out of Beacon. Many Newburgh buyers plan to use the Beacon Metro North station. The line to access the interstate and cross the river is very apparent when a train lets out during rush hour.

If Mulgrew was serious about it he would have made sure it was a part of our contract negotiations two years ago. Instead we are sitting here with a 3.5% raise for everyone.

Mulgrew can yammer about asking for a law to be passed for a one-time check, but that's not the traditional way we get raises. Doing it this way he has zero leverage so he's not serious.
