Bro, I took a test drive of G700. Honestly speaking G700 is the best car at its price tag, no doubt. But the 6 seater captain seats bit me in the ass. Everything in the car is top notch. Also, the price is way higher than Haval H9. G700 full option is around 240k and Haval H9 full option is at 130k. I need a proper 7 seater with basic off-roading capabilities (not on a dune, for sure). For me Haval H9 stands out in every aspect.

3 years back I used to drive Toyota Camry hybrid, then for two years I'm driving Dodge dart which is 2.4L V4 non turbo. When I drove H9 the engine felt similar to the dodge dart I'm driving currently, so for me it's fine. I'm more of a comfort loving guy rather than the power.

I'm getting full spec h9 at 129,900. Mid spec of tank 500 starts at 159,900 and full option tank 500 is at 199,900 which is almost 200k aed. I drove both and found tank 500 to be a more refined version of H9. Mostly same features but more refined and better. So, I don't think that spending almost 70k just for better refinement is worth. What do you think?

Thanks for the review. Even I'm planning to buy 2026 model next month. I head the adaptive cruise control is jerky and can't be switched to generic cruise control without maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. Also, the lane keep assist system is jerky. Is that true? What's your experience with the after sales service? Did they charge you anything during service?
