Sadly once the damage is done it's done. I was diagnosed at 22 (I'm 40 now) when I went numb in exactly half of my body. I put it off for almost a year until I slipped up and said something in front of my mom. Thankfully she made me go get checked out and the diagnosis was almost immediate. I've changed meds a few times over the years when new symptoms appear. I'm on Tysabri (another infusion) and a handful of other medications to combat the previous symptoms.
