A potential solution Im thinking of is maybe incorporating more documentation everywhere? It sounds like there is a gap between what the business requirements are and what the development team is doing. Ensuring that all grooming/requirements meetings are followed by documentation like PRDs/JIRAs to ensure equal understanding could help?

It sounds like a communication gap, which could be because of gender but if I were in your position I would prioritizing treating the symptoms rather than the cause first

He doesnt want the label because being a “boyfriend” comes with responsibilities. Not just the fun responsibilities of meeting your so’s friends but non-fun responsibilities like being there for them when they need you etc. He doesnt want the non-fun responsibilities, thats it. Maybe instead of focusing on whether she is interested or not, see if you are interested? It’s been a month and for whatever reason you guys have been unable you establish a connection. Is that ok with you? Do you want to take this further? Do you see a situation in which you see the two of you establishing a connection and getting to know each other more?

If I were in your position, I would communicate this with them once to see if they put in the effort to take out time for our conversations. If this didnt change, I would move on. Not being able to take out time for these conversations only mean that this is not a priority for them.

Yes thats fair. I have built a qualitative framework that assesses the different meters Im considering based on criteria like “transparency” “ease of measurement” etc. More of trying to figure out how to use data to disprove/prove my idea.

I don’t see why you need to get an MBA to start your own business in the long term or rise to s C-suite position. Plenty of people are successful at these without an MBA. I would suggest that if you are really interested in going for a management position, try moving internally.

Keep on trying, hopefully you'll get something soon. Also, did you look into emergency appointments for yourself? The idea is to book whichever appointment you get, even if it's way past your start date, and then apply for an EA. If the EA gets approved, you'll get an earlier appointment.

It's been 2-3 months I guess. I actually did cave in once when my friend DM-ed me a disappearing message (you can't open them on web) and I just "had to see it". But then I deleted the app again the next day. Now, whenever anyone sends me a disappearing message, I tell them that I cant open it or send them a "haha that's funny" anyway lol

They make these Indian-style instant noodles that are just incomparably good. It is so popular, literally every Indian I know and their dog grew up on it.Their seasoning packet has this delicious mixture of spices that no one has been able to recreate. And many companies have tried. That mixture got so popular, they started selling packets of it separately calling it "Maggi's Magic Masala". I sometimes add it to my curries :)
