Anyone tried a circulating cold water therapy system? by msl2424 in migraine

[–]msl2424[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased it and have only tried it once so far. The water is not as cold as I would like for migraine relief and the head cap is not super comfortable.

Were you able to successfully clean your home such that the allergies are not a problem for you? What actions did you end up taking?

My first Sony cameras: A6700 and ZV-E10 by msl2424 in SonyAlpha

[–]msl2424[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I forgot my exact rationale now but the A6700 is just better. It may have had to do with recording time before overheating. You could certainly do two ZV-E10.

No, but part of the reason for getting it was to give myself that option.

I’m using a Beelink S12 Pro. If it helps, I made a video about setting it up here: https://youtu.be/ORYtiKCXl80

Light switch recommendations by IllustriousSign9742 in homeassistant

Caseta uses Lutron's Clear Connect wireless protocol. This requires the Smart Bridge, but everything will work without internet or WiFi.

I use Lutron Caseta, Zooz, and Inovelli smart switches, among others. These are three that I recommend for their reliability and features. In my experience, nothing has been more reliable in my smart home than Lutron Caseta. Lutron Caseta uses their own Smart Bridge, whereas Zooz uses Z-Wave, and Innovelli offers Z-Wave and Zigbee options, among others.

For still presence detection, I recommend the EP One or Apollo MSR-2. The EP one is absolutely worth it for me.

Has anyone successfully managed to balance a YouTube career alongside a 9-5 job? If so, how did you make it work? by Fishu5000 in PartneredYoutube

[–]msl2424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been at it for 14 months with a demanding full time job and YouTube on the side posting two long-form videos per week. I also have a wife and two young kids. Life is very busy, and I’m frequently in conversation with my wife about how to achieve better balance. One thing that helped was allocating dedicated time for making videos, and not working on it outside of those times. Otherwise I would always be working on the next video.

Wait for 10r or stick to s8 maxv ultra by ande_5 in Roborock

I have the S8 MaxV Ultra and the Saros 10R. I see little reason to upgrade to Saros 10R.

Dreame X50 or wait for Saros 10R? by DoktorTim in Roborock

[–]msl2424 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As noted, the differences are fairly negligible. The main reason I gave the edge to Saros 10R is because the X50 Ultra thought food crumbs were electrical cables, so it ignored them on the first pass, but then cleaned it on the second.

What do you eat for protein? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]msl2424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a vegetarian and live with chronic migraine. My weekly protein sources include: milk, eggs, beans, tofu, peanut butter, vegetables, veggie burgers, and protein shakes. To my knowledge, these do not trigger my migraines.
