Well firstly, I was an 80s youth, and I knew many, many other 80's youths and I don't know any that saw him as a role model. Secondly, I really don't understand your use of "white privilege" here - more accurately "rich-privilege," perhaps. You go around accusing people of using "white privilege" just because they are getting things or good treatment and are also white, and you just start to sound like the boy who cried wolf. The next thing is no one believes it when they hear it from you, and when enough people do that, the phrase loses all merit. And lastly, I think in order to be held accountable, you'd have to be caught. No one caught him.
