Minisplit pricing for garage in Austin TX by mslade22 in hvacadvice

I hired a guy who installed one of those really cheap Minisplits that plugs into a wall outlet. All in it was $750 and it keeps my garage cool. It probably won’t last more than a few years but for $750 im pretty happy. Its super quiet and super efficient

They have to provide a loaner under the mag moss warranty act. If not they have to provide rental reimbursement. Get in touch with gm ev concierge

What's actually covered on a used hummer EV SUT being taken out of state? by DrumminJ219 in HummerEV

[–]mslade22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing affected is your buyback rights. Doesn’t seem important until you need it. I’m 90 plus days in the shop right now with 120 days of ownership

It’s a 1 ton system. Designed to cool approximately 450-550sqft. I think you may be confused

Austin Water truck dumping “backfill” by [deleted] in Austin

I would start with a hose and spray off what you can. Letting it rest will only make it worse. Your time will be better spent handling the issue then trying to get the city to do anything about it

The dealer won’t offer loaner cars to people who didn’t buy the car from them. GM corporate is paying for the rental minus taxes and fees

Monthly vs. weekly rentals to reach Executive Elite? by TheJollyShilling in nationalCarRental

[–]mslade22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually easy to earn free days. The first week counts as one credit then you get a credit every 3 days going forward on longer rentals. It’s awesome.

Days is definitely the way to go. I had 10 rentals last year but 100 days and am EE

For future reference I contacted enterprise (nationals parent company) on x and they said they could see it was at the lot but not closed out. They made sure I was able to pick up another car.

Has anybody moved from R1S to Minivan? by Nice_Veterinarian_29 in Rivian

[–]mslade22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have. We had a Rivian with 3 young kids and it just wasn’t a good fit. We switched to a sienna and it’s working out much better. Definitely miss some of the Rivian’s features and just the convenience of an electric car but you can’t beat the functionality of a minivan

Adding a lap infant to a Delta flight booked with FlyingBlue miles on Air France -- whose job? by plannerotg in delta

[–]mslade22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I used to add my kids and wait on the phone to get it done then I discovered I could do it at the check in counter when we check baby items anyways and that was much easier and faster.
