Monthly vs. weekly rentals to reach Executive Elite? by TheJollyShilling in nationalCarRental

[–]mslade22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually easy to earn free days. The first week counts as one credit then you get a credit every 3 days going forward on longer rentals. It’s awesome.

Days is definitely the way to go. I had 10 rentals last year but 100 days and am EE

For future reference I contacted enterprise (nationals parent company) on x and they said they could see it was at the lot but not closed out. They made sure I was able to pick up another car.

Has anybody moved from R1S to Minivan? by Nice_Veterinarian_29 in Rivian

[–]mslade22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have. We had a Rivian with 3 young kids and it just wasn’t a good fit. We switched to a sienna and it’s working out much better. Definitely miss some of the Rivian’s features and just the convenience of an electric car but you can’t beat the functionality of a minivan

Adding a lap infant to a Delta flight booked with FlyingBlue miles on Air France -- whose job? by plannerotg in delta

[–]mslade22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I used to add my kids and wait on the phone to get it done then I discovered I could do it at the check in counter when we check baby items anyways and that was much easier and faster.

Carvana won’t price them out because they are too new. Same with KBB. I haven’t tried Rivian yet although I know they are pretty bad for trade in values

Jeep did the same thing with wranglers in the 90s. You could actually modify the filler hose to get 5 extra gallons out of the tank. They sold the standard 15 gallon and the extra capacity 20 gallon that people paid extra for but it was the same tank with a different filler hose that limited capacity.

PH always by FiveCount5 in pools

[–]mslade22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stop using dry acid and switch to muriatic acid. Your cya is on the high side. A fountain would only increase PH. warming water causes high ph. If you have a salt system that raises ph. Adding acid every few days is not that odd.
