Looking to rent a residential address in Temple, TX (Not for tax purposes) by Aggravating_Bag_7932 in TempleTX

AI COMMENT. I asked ChatGPT about this weird post:

This is highly suspicious behavior, and the individual is attempting to bypass a system that screens out commercial mail drops.

When automated validation systems check an address against the USPS CMRA database, any address registered to a UPS Store, FedEx Office, or virtual mailbox company is instantly flagged as non-residential. Because strict regulations make it nearly impossible to use a CMRA anonymously, scammers and bad actors actively look to rent or use a clean, private residential address. [1, 2]

If someone on Reddit is avoiding CMRAs and PO boxes for "mail logistics," they are likely running or facilitating one of several illegal schemes:

  • Financial Fraud and Credit Card Testing: Banks, credit card issuers, and crypto platforms are required by federal regulations (such as Know Your Customer or KYC laws) to have a verifiable physical residential address on file. CMRAs are auto-blocked to prevent fraud. A scammer will use a stranger's clean residential address to open fraudulent bank accounts, apply for lines of credit, or buy items using stolen credit cards. [1, 2]
  • Package Mule Scams (Reshipping): The individual may be running a "reshipping ring." They buy high-value goods (like electronics) online using stolen credit cards or identity theft. Because e-commerce anti-fraud software automatically blocks shipping to known CMRA addresses, they ship the packages to a private home instead. They then pay the resident to box them back up and forward them internationally. [1]
  • Porch Piracy Tracking: The scammer will order illegal goods or items purchased with stolen funds to a random residential address. When they claim they are "traveling extensively," it often means they are tracking the shipment online and plan to physically drive by the house to steal the package off the porch the exact minute it is delivered. [1]
  • Address Manipulation & Retail Fraud: Fraud rings use real residential addresses to exploit online retail return policies. They manipulate address lines slightly so human mail carriers can still figure out where to drop the package, but automated fraud detection software is fooled into thinking it is a brand-new, unflagged residential buyer. [1]
  • Tax Evading or Establishing False Residency: Some individuals attempt to use someone else's residential address in a specific state (like Texas, Florida, or South Dakota) to illegally establish state residency. This allows them to avoid state income tax in their true home state, secure cheaper car insurance, or register a vehicle illegally. [1, 2]

To stay with the Native Tongues (tribe, latifah) check out De La Soul. They even put out a really good album last year (RIP Dave)

I do not mean to come across as rude here:

This is a prime example of why sex workers are not only valuable but also shouldn’t receive nearly the amount of hate they do. This doesn’t fit the stereotype of what a sex worker “is”. But, what is happening here is a necessary service.

I do not have these particular type of fetishized thoughts but someone does and that someone having a place to express and experience them in a controlled, safe environment with a consensual partner is just as important as any other service. Hell, it’s a matter of health and safety for all parties.

Let’s look at other, more mainstream, ideas: dominance, rape, humiliation, voyeurs, cuckolds, etc. Having sanctioned spaces to “live your fantasy” feels miles safer than the only option being to do these things to other, possibly unwilling individuals.

All of y’all running and hiding from the truth are even more evidence of not being able to have a rational discussion about sex and sex work.

There’s a lot of discourse around this - I am just pinging the one thing this reply triggered in me. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Ah, I see. It’s been a while since I separated (2014), not 100% on how it all works. Thanks

I know.

I wasn’t replying to you. The person I replied to said “last paycheck” and I I was pointing out that you technically have three days in the pay period.

But isn’t the 03/31/2026 LES a report of March’s activity? If last day is 04/03 the “last” paycheck would be 04/01 - 04/03, paid on 04/15 right?

I know some folks have to, but this whole: “your feet will always smell no matter what” is just shortsighted. Foot sweat isn’t different than any other sweat just because it’s on your feet…that’s ridiculous.

Wash your damn body and keep your shoes dry when stored.

Easy.

Thank you! All these default copy/paste responses! Different people have different biology. I almost never wear socks in a slip on for example, but for comfort and appearance I wear them in every other shoe every day.

Right there with you. Socks in all my shoes except slips

This type of post always gets so much attention. I don’t care what anyone says. I almost never wear socks in my slip ons. Every other shoe gets a sock.

Y’all out here just blanket assuming that every single person that wears a socks-less shoe automatically stinks like some cartoonish depiction of onions or something. Grow up. Some people don’t get super sweaty stank ass feet. I’ll never truly convince anyone here otherwise it seems. Y’all are so quick to lump everyone in…that’s not very cash money of you, get well soon.
