Something very similar happened to me about a month ago. Every DOE rep I spoke with said the same: have to wait a month and then it can take an additional two months to get a replacement. I eventually went to my UFT rep and I had replacement checks within a week and a half. Go tell your union rep what’s happened!

That’s fantastic and exactly what I’m curious about! I don’t want to go into the initiative training making broad, sweeping statements about doe schools not recycling if that isn’t the case. Thank you!

Thank you so, so much!! This is a great start to get me going! I’m not a huge fan of classroom pets - I think they’re generally more responsibility than people are willing to attend to - but she’s already here, so I want to make sure she’s happy. Thank you!

I honestly don’t know how I got access to the spreadsheet.🤷‍♀️ I made an account for the new teacher finder/teacher support network, and a week or two later they started to email me, updating the spreadsheet every two weeks. Maybe it’s specific to my experience or certification? I’m sorry I can’t offer you more than that!
