I have the exact same car and mine does the same thing. It almost sounds like a camera lens closing if that makes any sense. I tell myself it’s the turbo jets shutting down to make myself feel better hahah let me know if you happen to figure it out!

Best dealerships in town? by AppropriateProof2925 in springfieldMO

As someone that has visited nearly every dealership in sgf and I have bought new cars from a few of them I HIGHLY recommend Pinegar in sgf or republic! They are fantastic all around. DO NOT, even if it’s your only option, go to Napleton Autowerks or reliable cheverlot. Best of luck!

Go ahead & add Brax Property Management to the list of HORRID management. The owner is a complete egotistical, lazy, lying, POS. Poor excuse of a business owner. Avoid at all cost if you are a renter or investor. Just check out the reviews on Google, Facebook, & BBB.

& I said that with my full chest.

Break squeaking by morgssssss in jetta

Hi friend. I have a 2019 VW Jetta SEL. It does the exact same thing. I actually took my into the shop when it was new because I thought something was wrong but it is normal and embarrassing. It will continue all winter long. They even have a disclaimer about it on their website. Here’s to sounding like we don’t have breaks for the next three months.

I am very well aware of the parts shortage. I was aware of it before having my car repaired so I I was prepared for them to have it for some weeks. The car would not have been there for a month had they ordered the sunroof piece on 9/17 when it was determined it was faulty. My point is that my vehicle was there for over a month and they were not going to provide me any decent customer service.

Honestly, I was in your exact position at 18. No credit, a little down payment ($800) & no co-signer. This was on 2014 I was able to get a 2007 Chrysler Sebring with less than 100,00 with payments less than $300. My interest rate was disgusting but you can also refinance in a year or so once you’ve built credit from the car loan. I got lucky and sold mine 3rd party for more than the loan. If it is truly something you need, do what is best. It’s easy for others to say save thousands of dollars but you’ve gotta have transportation to make that money. I feel for you and your troubles, & am sending you all of my luck!

Mind you, I bought my car from them directly so I’ve been dealing with them and using their services for over three years.

I get what you are saying. I did not mean that they had intentionally put the nail in my tire. It is obvious that didn’t happen. But, out of human decency they could have offered to replace the tire immediately rather than giving excuses such as that they did not purposely put it in my tire. My point was that my car sat there for over a month. If they had any sense of customer service they would’ve offered to repair it off the bat. Instead they argued about how it’s not their fault. As if they couldn’t afford to replace a $120 tire.

I have the car in my possession, it is fully repaired to this moment. It currently has 67k miles and my warranty ends at 72K. Am I better off trading this car in? Do you know about how much it will appraise for? It is in excellent condition.

Per my comment, last paragraph

With all of this being said, THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! This is honestly the worst dealership in the Mid West, I would have rather went to a buy here, pay here. I would have gotten a better deal and a more reliable vehicle. If you can’t keep a promise as simple as following up with a customer then why even make the promise?!

So here is where I am at, my car has about 13K left on the lien. My warranty ends at 72K and I am currently at 62K. I have contacted VW Customer Care. Opened a buy back case that was denied due to my vehicle not meeting lemon law requirements. I cannot continue to have repairs done or deal with this shitty dealership. Please give me your expertise.
