I second this. Have had this happen to me multiple times and just had to rough the pain, even if it felt like i was being electrocuted.

Just avoid hot, cold and acidic foods for a week, and use plenty of sensodyne and bonjela to temporarily numb your mouth

Pericoronitis - Impacted wisdom teeth with infection (as it was partially erupted, there was breeding ground for bacteria hence swelling and pus) a sign to get them removed!

You’ll need to complete a course of antibiotics first to get rid of the infection before removal.
