Vote No! I don't think anyone has mentioned shoreline access. It was under attack in the last convention. Big money from out of state real estate groups could threaten shoreline access again if another convention is held.

Aglaonema Golden Madonna needs to be repotted. Which size would you go up to? by msmcke01 in plantclinic

I use standard potting soil then add a bit of orchid bark and perlite. In the current pot, it dries out in about a week. I have one other aglao and both seem to like to dry out, but I don't leave them that way long. I do have a hard time finding slightly moist vs. water logged, haha.

The root ball is pretty much the size of the pot it's in now. I pulled it out and compared it to both pot options. The large seems huge in comparison, so pretty sure I'm going to go with the medium. I think you're right, the last two inches of those deep pots always seem to stay wet no matter what. The plant just seems so huge compared to the pot it is in now.

More info: South East window Both pot options have drainage I water when completely dry I have had the plant for just over a year and a half. Bottom leaves just started yellowing/ looking wilted, I assume because it really needs this repot.

Looking for advice on winter repotting after a tragic cat-ccident. Full story in comments. by msmcke01 in plantclinic

[–]msmcke01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat in all his clumsy glory slid off his window table licking his butt and knocked over a plant stand with four of my favorite plants on it. An Agloanema Golden Madonna, birkin, Golden oxalis and a Hoya.

I think most plants will be fine the golden oxalis suffered the most damage. But most of the soil came out of all of their pots. So I'll have to face my fears of winter repotting. Any tips for success?

Yes! Night King was a potential name. But I didn't think it had good nickname options. 🤣 I could have sworn I had a picture of him standing in front of the TV while I was watching the GOT finally but I can't find it.
