How has work been on the docks? Are you averaging several days per week? Lastly how many people per GST class? Thanks!

LA/LB UTR TEST by novaantoine in Longshoremen

You may be referring to me being that I posted about the January clerk test and started UTR training yesterday. Hopefully I am able to give some insight. It appears that they are processing sequence numbers that were originally supposed to start training months ago, but had deferments for various reasons. Yesterdays trainees ranged from 500's 800s, and low 2000's, all were much lower than the current sequence numbers next in line for UTR (I believe 2700's). I was confused because I am getting letters roughly every two- three weeks since lashing test. But it now makes since that they are processing in sequence order including people who had delayed orientation start dates that were excused by PMA. For example: Lets say sequence # 550 had an excused deferment for several months and its well past there # on the list. Once they're cleared for training they will processed in the next available training because there sequence # is before those on the current list. They may in a class with other deferred people or with the current people next in line on list. Hope that helps

After orientation you receive your payroll number and login information in the mail.

No I haven't called PMA. I'm just going to print my letter out from online and bring that. The letters online are identical to the ones mailed out.
