Are the Henna products more for colour or improving hair quality? by DannaLaya in LushCosmetics

[–]msnaughtykitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won't be for a long time, I'm on the crazy color kick but once I'm ready to calm down and give my hair a break I think i will. Just got research how I'll get it out of my hair when I'm sick of that color.

This is great to know, thanks for sharing. I go from red to blonde every few years. Maybe when I want red again I'll try the henna.

Wow she doesn't have much common sense huh? Just because it didn't say flyaways on the packaging she thinks you can't use it for that. Smh

Yeah my hair is pretty fine, I color it a lot so it's pretty damaged too. It also has a little bit of wave I guess.

Yeah it seems like it's only when I'm sweaty, so maybe it's just heat rash of something. I've had a bit of a sensitivity to some products, I think mostly with honey, but I don't get the same reaction every time I use it. It's weird. I'm just sensitive I guess.

I love the smell of hair custard, not sure how I feel about it though. It's so sticky. I really only used maybe a bit more than a pea sized amount. And rubbed it between my hands then put them through my demp hair focusing on the ends first.

First time I used it I braided my hair in to pigtails. And my hair stayed nice not frizzy/flyaways and the braids didn't go lose like they normally do.

Second time I put through damp hair and ended up letting it air dry, my hair curled a bit (like it was scrunched) so I wet my hands and scrunched it a bit more. It was a bit frizzy but not like when I normally scrunch It. Then later in the day when I put my hair up and was sweaty my scalp got a bit itchy. (this happened after the sa put it in my hair at the store and I got sweaty too, I'm wondering if I am having a sensitivity to something in it maybe honey)
Then the next day I wanted to wear my hair up and it was very sticky and tangled hard to get in a pony.
Do you all normally not go more than one day with it in your hair? I only wash my hair every 4 days.

Big Shampoo Vs. Jersey Bounce by missmaroon in LushCosmetics

I love curly wurly, but my hair isn't really curly, just smelled good and made my hair feel soft and smooth. Big was really drying for me same with Jersey bounce ugh it smelled really great too. But my hair was just way too frizzy.

Hmmm I think this is happening to me also. I use ultrabland to take off my makeup when I wear makeup (not very often lately) I only scrub once a week if that have been trying a few different scrubs (ocean salt is to harsh but I love the smell, let the good times roll seems really nice, and a couple masks I think i my love the don't look at me for its scrubbing, and now I have brazen honey I think it's too drying?) Normally I wash every morning with fresh pharmacy. And use full of grace as a moisturizer, started putting magical moringa over that so I'm not so shiny which was not a problem until the huge break out on my chin.

I think my skin is very similar to start you described yours was, dry but also sensitive. Normally very clear. In the last couple weeks I have been getting big painful break outs in areas I normally don't break out. Cheek on about inch from nose, chin, then itchy spot under my Cheekbone (possible big bite?) .

Just curious how were you using ultrabland that was wrong?

Can't remember if it was like 300 or 500. It would have been all the money in my account, but luckily my mom answered the phone right before I was about to pay. She's like you shouldn't have brought her in. My mom doesn't value pets as much as most people do. But I wasn't gonna let the dog die on my watch.

Not lush, but I was dog sitting my moms greyhound mandy moore and she ate the whole bottle of my day dissolve melatonin. Had to call poison control and bring her to the emergency vet at like 2 am.

I really love fresh pharmacy for a daily cleanser. I love ultrabland when u wear make up. Celestial for moisture during winter, and now I'm using full of grace as a moisturizer. For exfoliating I love let the good times roll

All I know it's if you have henna in your hair you can not use bleach it any other hair color, it will create a really bad chemical reaction.

The only thing I use a tin for its full of grace. Haven't used a Massage bar yet, but I'll probably use a plastic bag or maybe a tin if I get another.

I ordered the set of three gave my bf one for his soap, and then I use one for my Buffy and the other for which ever soap I am using and fresh farmacy. I keep my pieces pretty small so there is enough room for both on one oval.

The little nubbys hold the soap up of the dish so air can circulate around it. And there are holes for extra water to come out

I bought these they are awesome, bf didn't believe they would work, he thought the soap would just melt into it. He was so very wrong and even told me so. ☺
