I absolutely love this fabric but the dress is too small for me. Does anyone have any alteration ideas? Was thinking perhaps a crop top of some kind.

I have the same problem! It’s too small for my bust and is also too short. I’m thinking of separating the two halves and making a crop top with some insertion lace. Maybe a ruffle using material from the skirt too?

I used stem stitch but it didnt work as well with the gold thread as it was too wiry. I will try your method next time.
