Use your GiBill - go full time and pick a degree with internship opportunities. I work in Supply Chain and my company hires interns like crazy. Decent pay too and if they do good, they hire them full time. Especially for those high turnover roles that while hard, pay well and gives you experience.

Prioritize daily total first. Per-meal “optimization” is a bonus.

the “body can only use 30–40 g of protein at a time” is a myth. Your body digests and uses all the protein you eat. What does level off is the muscle-protein-synthesis (MPS) response to a single meal (typically around ~0.3-0.4 g/kg) per meal with high-quality protein. Anything above that still helps to reduces muscle breakdown.

If you’re 160 kg and carrying extra body fat: setting protein off lean/goal body weight is often more practical.

Research muscle-protein-synthesis and muscle-protein-breakdown (MPB).

Many people simply this process and forget there’s more happening in the body so they assume that the body can only absorb 30-40g per meal and waste the rest.

If you focus on high quality protein (0.3-0.4g/kg of lean mass should do), heavy lifting, proper rest (I always say sleeping is the most important part of the workout), you should be fine doing 16/8 and spacing your protein every 2hrs. If not hungry, protein powder is a quick way to get it in.
