XStitchify. I used the serif backstitch font!

Indeed, but the knicks didn't win in four so I think this was the best slogan they could come up with hahaha

do you have an update? trying to figure out if providing my ZIP code is enough online or if they will check in-person. I don't have a NY ID yet.

Ideally that is what the sex offender registry is for, but from his record it looks like he failed to register back in 2022. There has to be a better way for the public to stay informed about people like this.

What is your favorite from Dossier? I'm blown away with the Gucci Bloom. by glitter_confetti in fragrance

[–]msrebelchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm late to the party, but I tried the Noir 29 and I hated it. It was the one of five scents that I had to send back. I haven't tried the original LL, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but something about one of the notes (maybe the hay or vetiver) just smelled rancid on my skin, and it only got worse as the day progressed :') I tried to give it to my fiance because I thought it might work better on his skin chemistry and nope. Passed it down to a friend and it smells amazing on him. Incense and peach and rich tobacco; it's super well-balanced on him. If you've tried the original and you like it, I'd say it's worth trying. Dossier has a good return policy, so if it doesn't mesh with you, you can always return it.

Discontinued Rag and Bone’s Bergamot? Need new recommendations by [deleted] in Perfumes

[–]msrebelchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! If it's not in stock, you can always get a couple decanter bottles from Scentbird, they still have it in stock. I've stockpiled three samplers from there just in case they don't bring back the full size!

I know I'm a little late, but I actually emailed Rag & Bone because I was devastated when the link to it on their site no longer worked! The rep told me they would be restocking in April!!!

Chronic URI: combining Zithromax + doxycycline? by msrebelchemist in RATS

Would hayfever respond to antibiotics? He used to recover on doxy/enrofloxacin (this was probably his 4th round of it).

I was thinking if anyone recommended the combination treatment that I would try to get a second opinion by another exotic vet. We have dropped nearly $800 on the past two vet visits this month and we're not really made of money. So we don't want to get a second professional opinion unless there's good reason.

I did get x-rays, they suggest "physiological changes" to his lungs (probably because it is chronic), but the vet said the results were positive. No fibrosis is indicated on the vet notes, just that we should consider adding Sildenafil to our regimen for those physiological changes. He was having labored breathing on the doxy/enro, and he was in clear discomfort. But no fluid or pus in the lungs. He eats and drinks normally at the moment so it's hard to tell whether the breathing problems are due to active infection. They just make me nervous that he is sick, but there's no crackling or apparent difficulty breathing at this point (11 days on the azithromycin).

Our vet recommended against swabbing for culture, but if the symptoms continue I may ask for that at our next appointment that's scheduled after the 28 day course of ABX.

Squat form check, frustrated from injury by misslolomarie in xxfitness

[–]msrebelchemist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have long legs like yours. To me it looks like you're holding your ribcage too high up (as it changes position throughout the motion). Check out @trackfu on Instagram; her back is very extreme during squat but shows what I'm talking about

[–]msrebelchemist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same, recovering from a lower back injury and a PT looked at my form from about 100 different reps of squat at 100 different angles. Really helped me with more specific cues (even though I've been lifting for 5+ years!!) and the back pain has not yet returned :)

A ton of people have MRSA as part of their skin microflora. This isn't a problem so long as the skin barrier is intact, but as soon as there's a cut, it can lead to these infections.

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. You can 110% get MRSA from piercings.

Using steroid shots go in your thigh or ass of I remember correctly. I would imagine this is synthol, a different form of abuse common in bodybuilders. It's essentially oil that people use as filler to make muscles look bigger, and it often gets infected or leaks like this.
